I think he's holding out on us, Lightning :)
A republican elephant on my right shoulder, a deaths head near my navel, an ammo belt starting at the hip and over both the back and the chest with both ends meeting on the top of my right shoulder near the neck, a bunny rabbit and monkey hybrid on the inside of my right thigh, an orc head on my lower back, the emblem of the Klingon star empire on my left kneecap, the word "hold fast" is spelled one letter on each finger arranged in a way others can read, and last but not least a hammer an sickle at the bottom of my left foot and swastika on the bottom of my right foot symbolizing how I always trample evil underfoot.

All true.

I am getting my first one this month hopefully if it goes according to plan. It is going to be the infinity sign with faith on the bottom and family on the top

I have two tats on both legs, they are tattoos of chicken legs (oh wait, I think those are my actual legs!!!)

I was actually born with a tattoo on my scalp that says "666" (you guys don't think it's something I should be worried about, do you???).

I have two. The first one starts on my ankle and goes up to my neck. It says christian. The other one starts on my forehead and wraps around my entire face. It says chat.
A true chat addict. :p

I have a tiger on my left upper arm, a black panther on my right upper arm, and an American flag and eagle on my right shoulder. Go figure, with my fascination for wolves I don't have any. I just never saw one I liked, and although I commisssioned an original that would have been a full back mural, I never got the ink laid.

Actually, I just checked my head tattoo again, and I realized I was reading it upside down - it actually says "999" so there shouldn't be any problems!!!

I don't have any. I'm certainly not against anyone who does; however, because it's our choice. I thought they seemed cool for a while, and thought about getting one. I had several reservations, though:

What does the Bible/God say about tattoos?
What do I really like enough (image or word-wise) that I'd want to make a permanent part of my body? (still leaves mark/scar when removed)
What would this say about me to others?

After having the opportunity to research the above and more, I decided not to get inked. I felt, at least for me, it was the better choice. Still not against them, but not necessarily for them either. It's sort of one of those points Paul spoke of in relation to:

1 Corinthians 6:12
Or
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Btw, that OT passage involving tats I found can be found here: Leviticus 19:28 NIV -

Now, before you tear into me about culture vs spiritual truth in scripture, the other laws like not wearing mixed clothing, or the argument of NT vs OT, hear me out. I believe in both the New and Old Testament in conjunction, and though I do wear clothing of two kinds of material (and may even be sinning for doing so), I do acknowledge and believe in what the congruency and transcendence of Scripture states by and large. Study, context, interpretation(as in wisdom/understanding) are all needed, and I do try to seek them.

I feel kinda the same way.. I don't have any and don't plan on getting any but I'm not totally against them.. I'm not saying I would never for any reason get one.

I'm against tattoos, that is why I got a tattoo on my chest that says "No Tattoos Allowed" (wait, does that count as a tattoo? Oh No!!!).
