Of course, Lil! We won't report you. ;) hehe just kidding! There's nothing to report. :) So go ahead..

Okay! So what do guys think of women wearing perfume (whether it be lotions, those spritz things you walk through, the stuff you put behind your ear, or all of the above, and especially the ones you can smell a mile away )? Do they like/dislike it? Does it even matter to them? I mean, a guy probably cares if a women smells decent (aka, has showered, doesn't smell like she hasn't put on any deoderant for a week, etc.), but do perfumes give more of a headache to a guy than anything else?

It's especially confusing because I know not all guys like or care about perfume (but I'm wondering just how many), but on perfume commercials, it doesn't matter what kind, there's always a girl that catches a guy's eye or worse, and so, they're probably giving off a false illusion, especially to people my age. Wear perfume, get a guy! Yup. That's how it's supposed to work.

(Note, I'm not asking this because I wear perfume. I've actually worn it very few times.)

Ah well it doesn't matter much to me if a woman wears perfume or not. Some perfumes I think smell really nice and I want to follow that woman all over the mall (just kidding about the mall part lol). Some perfumes smell strange to me though. When I notice a woman is wearing perfume I just assume she just wants to smell nice and pretty. I never think that they are doing it to get men's attention unless they are in a nightclub or a bar and they are wearing a gallon of it lol.

I'm fond of scents and some of the lighter perfumes. But some of those people who lay it on thick... It's not nice to attack other people's noses.

I agree! haha I know that all of my family thinks that perfumes can be really...hard on the nose and hard on the head. My mom and my sisters and I can get migraines if it's bad enough.

Lil, I'm not a guy, but I say ban 99% of the perfumes out there. I'm actually pretty allergic to most on the market, and some of the strong ones can make me dizzy if I'm around it long enough, not to mention loose my ability to smell. And I think what makes me mad is that the ones who put tons of it seem to not care how much it makes others sick. Or, at least it comes across that way to me.

My mom is the same exact way, viola. She can get terrible migraines from certain perfumes and the only thing that helps is stuff like hot coffee. The caffeine helps the migraine.

I'm not near as sensitive. And some smelly stuff I like. But Mom is like, no to 99 percent of the perfume out there. haha so that's one reason I don't wear scented stuff beyond lotion.

The lotion is for my dry hands, anyways. And it's not like strong and terrible. It's grapefruit smelling. ^_^ How I love J.R. Watkins. :D (There's also a lemon cream that smells like lemon cake! Deeelish!)

(guys, take notes. :p You will need them to further understand the female species. and to know when not to wear aftershave. lol :p)

I luuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrvvveee smelling good. Though, I don't think it takes a gallon of perfume in order to do so. Some nice lotion and being clean seems to do the trick. Back in the day, when I used to be one of those clubbing, dancing peoples, I used to wear gallons only because I knew I'd be sweating it all of by the end of the night. haha I do occassionally spray a bit on my wrists and neck though, but only for special occassions like dates.......and we all know how often that happens. ;D

I think if a lot of people knew what sort of ingredients were in a lot of perfumes and colognes they might think twice about using them....or not. Things like sperm whale poop and deer musk. I like perfume on women when it isn't overwhelming (especially if it is a fruity scent) but if its too strong it will give me a headcache, almost instantly.

I like wearing perfume, Romance by Ralph Lauren is pretty nice. But so many people these days are sensitive to perfume so I don't wear it. It seems like people tend to be more sensitive to perfume than cologne. I loooooove cologne on a guy, as long as its not too musky.

Don't forget regurgitated octopus.

Come on now!! What woman doesn't like to get all dressed up and complete the look by gently spritzing on some Eau de regurgitated octopus?

I actually do know, unfortunately. You should see my cabinets of natural soaps, lotions, essential oils and homemade things. XD Tons of fun.

I never knew there was some sort of perfume stuff women put behind their ear....What the heydiddledodiddledumdeedo!?? That's weird.

I like everyone to smell clean at least...
If a woman wears a light scent, that's fine...especially if it smells like something natural such as fruit.
If I can smell someone from the next zipcode over...not good..not good at all.

I do know, and i really just don't care. I like things that smell good, even if it has sperm whale reproductive organs in it.

Reminds me of all those AXE bath people. *shudder*

At some point they must realize that its repellent.

This reminds me of an old friend of mine who was an AXE addict. He used so much of that stuff it was asphyxiating. He even used it as an air freshener a lot of times. He sprayed it on his clothes when he didn't feel like washing them, which just exaggerated the smell of body odor. I absolutely can't stand when people just try to mask body odor instead of washing the smell of b.o. away.

Well said, Nod. :p That is a post FULL of wisdom right there. ;) (actually, there's nothing there. Might wanna fix that! lol)

Oh, I so need to come visit you. You could do a soap class and I can see if it's something I really want to learn.
