Actually, Ijustwantthetruth, you're probably remembering your parents'/teachers' correction in placing nouns at the beginning of a sentence.

Ex: "I'm going to the bowling alley."

Often children will put themselves first. "I and Matthew are going to the bowling alley."

This, however, is incorrect. The proper way of communicating that your friend will be joining you is to say:

"Matthew and I are going to the bowling alley."

A common misconception of this is the very conversation we're having.

"Matthew and I" will work in that context, but not in my previous example.

Incorrect Grammar/Usage: "Please hand the remote to Matthew and I."

Correct Grammar/Usage: "Please hand the remote to Matthew and me."
 
Correct grammar doesn't matter when you can sing as beautifully as Gizmo

It depends. I cuddle with my girlfriend all the time. Before I met her, I would have had a good spoon with a female friend of mine. I definitely wouldn't cuddle a bloke. Or family, that's a bit weird.

It feels natural to cuddle with someone of the opposite sex. they're usually smaller than me (I'm about 6'1), and they usually lie/sit in great cuddle positions. *invitations*

I generally would hug anyone, generally. I'm ok with physical contact.

I've never dated but I can imagine that I'd only want to cuddle with the guy that I'm in a committed relationship to, and I'd hope he'd feel the same. I don't think I'd like thinking of him cuddling with other girls, even if they were just friends.

Hugs are okay as long as you mean it; I dislike wimpy hugs! I also dislike awkwardly long hugs. I have a close guy friend who does this to me. He has a girlfriend so it's nothing like that, but after a while it's like "Alright...you can let me go now...". Or Christian-side hugs from older people where they hug you from the side, then just stand there with their arm around your shoulders while they talk and you just stand there awkwardly (I really hope I'm not the only one who has experienced that :o )

yeah. i guess if i think about my future hubby cuddling someone else it does make me a little sad...

yeah haha i know some of those never-let-go-ers. and sometimes i wish someone would never let go? but then other times it's like. ok... too close too close too close too close too close :D
lol. yeah. prolonged side-huggers. it's a seinfeld episode waiting to happen....

But I have to admit, my little Gizmo "Mr. Snuggles" Bartholomew wouldn't be anywhere near as large as Professor Cuddle Bottoms!!!

it's not the quantity that matters, my friend... but the QUALITY :D yes. that is i <3 me... i.... me.... i and the professor whom i just bought last month :)
