Paul knew this....which is why he taught ALL to keep God's laws.
Galatians 5:4
Christ has become nothing to any of you who are seeking acceptance with God through the Law: you have fallen away from grace.

You will derive no advantage from Christ. His work in regard to you is needless and vain. If you can be justified in any other way than by him, then of course you do not need him, and your adoption of the other mode is in fact a renunciation of him. Tyndale renders this: "Ye are gone quite from Christ." The word here used (καταργέω katargeō), means properly, to render inactive, idle, useless; to do away, to put an end to; and here it means that they had withdrawn from Christ, if they attempted to be justified by the Law.

TRAMPLING THE VERY PLAN OF GOD FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.
MAKING A MOCKERY OF IT ALL.

Eccl12and13 is referring to the law of animal sacrifices/burnt offerings. He believes they ceased with Christ's death on the cross, but no others did.
Well....let's not take my word for it....let's read GOD'S word to see if any other of His laws ceased when Jesus died on the cross. Let's read of some of God's law before Christ death;

Exod.20
[13] Thou shalt not kill.
[14] Thou shalt not commit adultery.
[15] Thou shalt not steal.
[16] Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
[17] Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Lev.19
[15] Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Lev.19
[18] Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Deut.6
[5] And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

So we have laws of God above that man needed to keep BEFORE the death of Christ. Let's read if these laws were still to be kept AFTER Christ death;

Rom.13
[9] For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

1 Cor.10
[8] Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

1 Thes.4
[3] For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

James 2
[9] But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

WOW!! The list of laws that were to be kept by man BEFORE Jesus death looks just like the list of laws man is to keep AFTER Jesus death.

So just WHICH laws were done away with at the cross when Christ died? It certainly was not those presented above.

NONE.
how are you doing UNDER THE LAW?

i notice you Lawyers avoid Galatians like the plague.

here's some more:

Galatians 2:21
Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.

My apologies for wording it incorrectly

Again: what identifies a children of God is by faith in Jesus Christ: not by keeping the law.

First let's read what Jesus tells us about keeping His laws;

John 14
[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
[31] But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

John 15
[10] If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
[12] This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Jesus tells us who is identified as a child of His. Now let's read what others have said....

Rom. 7
[12] Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Rom. 13

1 John 2
[3] And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
[4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 3
[23] And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
[24] And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1 John 5
[2] By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

Sure sounds like a good way to be identified as a child of God.

So NO laws were done away with when Jesus died? So that would mean all are still in effect!

Which is it? Some laws were done away with? All laws were done away with? Or no laws were done away with when Christ died?

Do you even know?

And just how did they 'cease' when Paul tells us this;

[8] Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

1 Thes.4
[3] For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

How is the above putting an end, or putting a 'cease' to God's laws?

The law and the breaking of the law go together, so if we break the law we automatically
come under the law, but if we don't break the law then we are free from the law and
as far as we are concerned the law is dead and buried and of no effect.

Those in Christ have risen above the law and are dead to the law.

Who does Paul say the law is for?

lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for adulterers, and perverts, for slave traders, and liars and perjurers-and to whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious Gospel of the blessed God which he entrusted to me

I'm doing just fine. I'm doing my best to do God's will. And His will is for me to do my best at obeying Him. He gave man His laws to obey....so that is what me and my family try our best to do. Do God's will. Obey and keep His commandments.

Now let's look at Gal.

Gal.3
[19] Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

What law of God was added to His other laws because those other laws continued to be broken? What law was only to be around until Christ came?

Gal.3
[17] And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

Which law was added 430 years after God's already existing laws?

Which laws were no longer needed when Christ died?

We can all sin but when we let Christ into our life Satan flees. The thing is if I have my eyes fixed on Jesus, then I won't be tempted by the things of this world.

Paul said:

For sin shall not be your master, for you are not under law but under grace(Rom6:14)

So you believe sin shall not be a persons master because animal sacrifices have been done away with

Can you explain why this is?

Thanks

Really? Satan flees? Satan tempted JESUS! And you believe that you are NOT tempted by the things of this world? Let's read if Paul was tempted....

Rom.7
[15] For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
[16] If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
[17] Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Does this sound like a man that was not tempted? Let's continue....

[18] For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
[19] For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

Paul tells us that at times he knows to do good, but sometimes he does those things that he knows he should not do. Let's read more...

[23] But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Paul was in a constant battle with doing right or doing wrong.

But you claim that you are NOT tempted by the things of this world?
