Have you read the history of the founder of Planned Parenthood?

Margaret Sanger
Founder of Planned Parenthood
In Her Own Words

"The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."
Margaret Sanger, Women and the New Race
(Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923)

On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
"...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born." Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people

On sterilization & racial purification:
Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial "purification," couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization. Birth Control in America, The Career of Margaret Sanger, by David Kennedy, p. 117, quoting a 1923 Sanger speech.

On the right of married couples to bear children:
Couples should be required to submit applications to have a child, she wrote in her "Plan for Peace." Birth Control Review, April 1932

On the purpose of birth control:
The purpose in promoting birth control was "to create a race of thoroughbreds," she wrote in the Birth Control Review, Nov. 1921 (p. 2)

On the rights of the handicapped and mentally ill, and racial minorities:
"More children from the fit, less from the unfit -- that is the chief aim of birth control." Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

On religious convictions regarding sex outside of marriage:
"This book aims to answer the needs expressed in thousands on thousands of letters to me in the solution of marriage problems... Knowledge of sex truths frankly and plainly presented cannot possibly injure healthy, normal, young minds. Concealment, suppression, futile attempts to veil the unveilable - these work injury, as they seldom succeed and only render those who indulge in them ridiculous. For myself, I have full confidence in the cleanliness, the open-mindedness, the promise of the younger generation." Margaret Sanger, Happiness in Marriage (Bretano's, New York, 1927)

On the extermination of blacks:
"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America, by Linda Gordon

That article is from early 2010. Are they still doing those things? I don't even have words for what's going on in that article. Well, I do. But they aren't entirely Christ-like. :/

If I'm not mistaken, there's also some Girl Scout badge now that has something to do with learning about homosexuality or sexuality in general?

The Homosexual Law Reform Society was an organisation in the United Kingdom which lobbied to decriminalise homosexual activity and attempt to "normalise" it to the masses through the social engineering of British society. A department committee had been set up in 1954 by the government to look into the matter, culiminating in the controversial Wolfenden Report of 1957. This was followed by a petition in The Times supporting it, signed by various socialist-liberal figures including Clement Attlee, Isaiah Berlin, Julian Huxley, Bertrand Russell and others.

This thread and the allusion to Julian Huxley remind me of another Huxley.

Oh Brave New World.

But what about the whole throwing stone thing? Or the splinter in the eye? I don't know that Bible well but its seems like you might be misrepresenting it a bit. This is how I view this and if you don't agree I understand.

The idea of not letting gay men and women have the same things heterosexual people do. Marriage, family health insurance, family life insurance, adoption by both parties....

These are things that gay people want that are not going to effect your day to day life (I'm assuming) So it seems that you are going out of your way to play keep away with rights we were all guarenteed. I am not talking about God's law but mans law. So.. can't you punish/ do whatever you need to do in Christian law?

God's law, and reality in general really, demonstrate quite clearly that the notion that homosexuals can ever be in a legitimate sense of the word a "married"(that is, sodomite marriage), is a farce. God's law doesn't allow for man to create "marriage" for homosexuals.

the eugenics programs never went away. they just use different methods. whenever and wherever they can get away with it.
no country is immune.

Israel admits Ethiopian women were given birth control shots
Health Minister director general instructs all gynecologists in Israel's four health maintenance organizations not to inject women with long-acting contraceptive Depo-Provera if they do not understand ramifications of treatment.

A government official has for the first time acknowledged the practice of injecting women of Ethiopian origin with the long-acting contraceptive Depo-Provera.

no, no, no.
un-natural. a very bad idea.
stop it.

gays aren't happy, naut.
you know they're not. that's why they act out constantly. all the drama and activism.
Its often hard to remain happy when you, or so many people like you, are being discriminated against and hated by some of the people around them. Many homosexuals, bisexuals, and transsexuals get rejected by their family, friends, and church. Often pretty much everyone they loved, all those people they cared about growing up, turn on them just because they can't deny their attraction to people of the same sex or their want to live a role that they were not born into. The gay rights movement helps this. It makes people feel like they aren't alone and that there are people there to support them. The general public will stop having such strong negative reactions to homosexuality and when this happens gays will be able to be happier.

It is hard being a hated minority, especially when it is difficult to find comfort in the people you loved your whole life.

As far as alcohol and drug addictions...I have known far more straight people with these problems than people in the gay community.
If I remember correctly, drug abuse is more common among homosexuals. The rejection that many homosexuals receive when they come out makes them feel like they have nowhere to go. It is very common for people in this position to try any other escape they can think of before attempting the ultimate escape, suicide.

the blame game solves nothing, and was given to us by Freud and modern psychology.
it spreads the misery around and nothing more.
we have to grow up and take responsibility for our own sin.
we can only do this when sin is called sin according to the One Who created us.
He is right and we are wrong.

He gave us a way out - Christ Crucified.

im just gona jump in here as some of you with different opinions like accusing others of not being true believers calling them idiots for there opinion just like to point out what does the bible say about judging others, let people have there own opinions and discuss and debate sensible without the name calling its not very christian is it

This is coming from someone who is dealing with transsexual issues. I can agree to the point of stop beating us up. I can not and never will agree with you that making gay marriage legal is a good thing for us. All that will do is say to us that the sins we committed or are continuing to commit is OK. Those of us dealing with the LGBT issues are under guilt. Perhaps it's because how we handle it and what we do can be so very wrong and we are guilty before the Lord. Do you honestly think if one legalizes gay marriage that it will actually bring us to a point of conviction so that we can be forgiven and made new in Christ,or will it be another nail in the coffin because now I have something else to point to that makes it "OK"? Doing so is not doing us any favors,it will allow many more to further harden their hearts.

Been there myself on the drugs, alcohol and suicide. It is only because of His grace and mercy that I did not succeed. A lot of the reason for the drug abuse is because of the guilt we carry, but the answer to being set free from these things can only be found in Jesus.

Everyone deserves the right to do as they please, unless it infringes on another person's rights.

If someone's gonna be attracted to men, they'll be attracted to men whether they fear hell or not. Some act on it, some don't.

I don't necessarily agree with homosexuality in itself. Because to me a man was made for a woman.

But then, I don't have to be homosexual, do I?

Human law like this is there to protect the 'individual'.

If people want, within that human law, to follow God and abstain from homosexuality, then that human law does not dictate that they cannot do that.

following God should be a choice.

If someone is attracted to men, like I am attracted to women, then it is up to the person to choose whether they act on it or not.

And up to God to judge.

and in fact, human law and government (which God has set up, for there is no authority except that which God has established), is more likely to put you in jail for prejudice than being gay. Just sayin'.

I don't need to hate on gay people. I don't have to be gay!

But the question is then does a law that allows gay marriage tell them that it's OK to continue on in sin, that will in the end cast them into hell if they do not repent of it. Are you OK with telling them that it's OK and they have nothing to fear in the long run? Would you be OK with you if one of your friends or family members did so and then because of it was cast into hell and you knowing it was wrong in the first place but because the human law said it was OK,it must somehow be right and trump God's law? Or does God's law trump human law and there are very severe consequences for breaking those laws? Passing those types of laws is going to make it even harder for them to come out of it and it sounds like you are OK with that.
