I have a "Today's English Version" bible, is that one good enough? I hope so because it's the only one I got. It has also a section between the old and new testaments called Deuteronomy and Apocrypha, should I skip those?
will happen, where people in the church abandoned the faith. I do consider the slight changes in Bible translations, over
the years, to contribute to the "falling away" conditions we are now in. People will tell you many things, and a lot
of those things are on the subject of "why these changes need to take place in the Bible." They are just itching to change
God's word and they'll tell you which Bible versions to get, which already have had changes done to it. If it were
a matter of wording, I wouldn't have a problem with "changes." However, words aren't all that have been changed.
A slight shift from the spiritual discernment to a carnal concept has taken place. The KJV is more important to the
English speaking christian, than it has ever been since its creation. You need to have you one. The further
an individual is removed from the KJV, the greater the chance that individual stands at being deceived. A lot of the
people who don't hold the KJV in high regard, are many of the same people advocating "more" changes.
They want the "new and improved." Well, God isn't "new and improved." What He gave, is what He thought
was best. When people try to improve on God's work, they only make it worse. God is perfect and man isn't.
Get a KJV.
