Are you okay with people being told by human law that it's okay to eat lots of cheese and end up with heart disease and die in your fourties? Or that it's okay to cheat on your wife and hurt her? Or that it's okay to blaspheme against God?
Human laws allow these things. But the question is why?
People have had the choice to do all these things since the dawn of man. And God has judged them.
Making human laws where nobody can cheat, and nobody can have any God other than God, and punishing them severely, even killing them, simply does not work. It brings people to things out of fear.
'Oh no, I'm gonna get stoned for this'. 'Oh no, I'm going to jail for this'. 'Oh no, I'm sentenced to death for this'.
It's a dictatorship.
Dis Jesus count the pharisees righteous, who wanted to stone the adulterous woman?
