I thought this might be kind of fun:

Ladies - what advice do you have for guys when it comes to dating or talking to girls? What should they avoid? What should they try?

Men - what advice do you have for girls when it comes to dating or talking to guys? What should they avoid? What should they try?

This isn't about personal turn-ons/turn-offs (although you're free to include them)... just some things that you think everyone of one sex should know about the opposite sex...

What if she's wearing a wet suit. It's almost an open invitation.

My advice tidbits:

- Absolutely no stalking. Stalking is creepy.
- In the beginning, one call and/or text per day is probably sufficient.
- We know you don't really listen when we talk... but at least show us the courtesy of pretending to

- Number one - be yourself. Some girls won't like you and some girls will, but (warning: cliche approaching) it's better to be hated as who you are than loved as who you're not (I think that's how it goes)

WARNING THIS MAY HURT YOUR FEELINGS LOL:

ok hmm what can i say about a guy's communication with girls.... let's see.. i think that guys should be honest with the person they are dating. don't just sugar coat everything but at least act decent. don't be rude .. don't talk about video games all the time . DON"T FALL ASLEEP ON THE PHONE. hm.. i'll come up with some more stuff later.

Heck ya I do...man if you call me at like 3 am...what do you expect me to be doing at that time of night...and plus now its 3 am and you wanna talk about your feelings? I think I could honestly fall asleep if I had just drank a red bull and you brought that subject up. Ok, not really but you get the point...you call all sort of random weird hours....

Oh yeah absolutely, its really easy to fall asleep on the phone when you're lying down...AND...PRETENDING to be asleep is a great way to end a phone call when there's no end in sight...

MusicalMe, are you sure about the stalking thing? Don't some girls appreciate the attention and the effort you're going to?

Heh heh.

I suppose if I had any dating advice worth listening to... I wouldn't be single right now :).

And I always say, it's not "stalking", it's "pursuing"--but only when I'm the active perpetrator (when someone else does it to me, it's definitely "stalking.")

*currently stalking, er, pursuing, the Jedi Master* (Padawan, right? Am I getting it yet?)

*winks at Kakashi*

*laughs* I like this one, Sharp. Will have to borrow it sometime.

"Don't think of it as stalking... I'm casually surveying you, baby."
