You know you are single if on Valentine's Day.... When you look at that cute little soft white teddy bear that your soon to be ex gave you on a previous Valentine's day that say's, "I love you." every time you squeeze its foot and you think to yourself, "I wonder if this is safe for the dog?"
I've learned that my dog loves me with every single chomp. LOL

Actually I get to spend valentines day with my baby.
Bought a bunch of things for her this week, and I can't wait to see how she reacts. 
I mean, new bumper, tail lights, and much much more. I love my car.

You know you are single on Valentine's Day when your friends invite you out as a formality and then ask..."So are you sure you're going to be okay...because you know Jason my husband is coming and the other girls are bringing their boyfriends...are you sure you are going to be able to have fun" a.k.a "Single people shouldn't come out to parties, you might be contagious"....(true story, but it wasn't Valentines Day - so it is partially true...and technically I didn't know what she was thinking, but I'm pretty sure that my interpretation is accurate)

You know you're single when on valentines day... You buy a box of valentines " just because" and you hand them out to complete strangers .. I'm putting on the envelope ... "free hug" comes with this card ...I plan on handing them out to every elderly persons path I cross this day .. I

Stealing Descyple's comment, instead of pretending I have a date on Valentine's Day, how about someone ask me out and we meet on CC for a Valentine's CC Party. We can even go into one of the empty CC forums and discuss our lack of a "real" date and how much fun we are having.
