Thaddeus,

It is silent in heaven for the first half-hour because the women are late. LOL

Re 8:1And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
i always wonder why the 30 minute silence in heaven, I guess it is for those that like it quiet, but for the rest of eternity, I am going to be making some noise

Why doesn't Jesus like M&M?
Because they fall through the hole in His hands!

Just to represent the other camp... I'm always sad when I minister in churches around the world just how lacking this is.. The Kingdom of God is JOY!.. peace.. and righteousness in the Holy Ghost..

Despite not being a follower of these guys ministries... Where would we position ourselves at the outpouring of pentecost I wonder? I can just see us sitting there in the book of acts.. outside the temple pulling out our Torah bibles ( no NT then) and examining the behavior according to the scriptures.. of course we would still be there at midnight.. because we wouldn't have found it anywhere in the Bible :)

Most people I know that react against this sort of thing are deeply afraid that because it hasn't happened to them and they love the Lord that they're missing out...that they've somehow been kept in the dark by the Lord... after all the religious in Jesus time did that all the time.. and even the disciples had to be walked through some stuff..

I'd check your hearts and bibles people... God's good on uncomprehendable levels... it doesn't make sense!

Oh and p.s why is uncontrollable weeping more acceptable than uncontrollable laughter??

It ain't about feeling , but it sures feels good to Feel the Holy Spirit. while we are on the subject about how God moves and don't move, does anyone know if there is scriptures that says if God is not moving in a service that we can do something to get Him to move. When I first heard a preacher say that there was scriptures stating that if God is not moving than we can make him Move. I thought Man this dude has lost it until he gave us the verse. does anyone know what verse it could be? if you already know wait and let some try and guess . I will give the answer after 12 guesses

wow, I scared everyone off. let me go ahead and give you the verse that says that we can make God move. apparently there are no guesses. all we have to do to make God move is. (drum roll please)

Jas 4:8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

if we move toward God, God will move toward us. I want to press in as close as I can get.

There is one more obscure passage in the old testament:

The practice of the prophets to have music playing in order to stir up the spiritual gift:
2Ki 3:15 But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.

David calling for God to arise:

Psa 68:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm or Song of David. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

Psa 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Do you guys not think that Jesus laughed? There is nothing wrong with laughing in church. Jesus himself said that laughter is good.

Indeed, but I dunno, this seemed more like forced "hey everybody's doing it and I wanna fit into the crowd" laughter.

Just because a church does something, slaps the label of "Holy Spirit moving" on something does not make it so. That's just something I'd like to throw out there.

yet.. it's almost as if people have an aversion or are allergic to laughter in church. Followed by the all so high and holy and mighty " no disorder in the church " .

The hypocrisy of some of you is astounding. That you would belittle people who MAY truly be laughing in the Spirit, due to the influence of the Spirit on a person's soul/mind. It's happened to me in private devotions, I can't see it not happening in a larger corporate group.
Yet I bet on an average Sunday church service you're cackling along to the pastor's wit and sense of humor like everyone else. Hypocrites.

I watched this all the way through. It seemed edited to suit the utube posters agenda. I was actually sad so see a blatant attack on Charismatics in here where we are in "Christian" Chat. I'm sad to see attacks on any congregation that holds Christ as risen Lord and savior in here and think perhaps this sort of thing is for the unbelievers. I've never laughed in the spirit, but I'm not judging due to my lack of understanding. I definitely thought it was different how they were falling all over eachother but my sadness more came from the fact that this was posted in blatant mockery in a place where my charismatic sisters and brothers in Christ should feel at home. sorry robo, usually i agree with you, but not this time.
