Everyone: What is something not commonly known about you?
This is kind of a hard question for me. Telling y'all something that a lot of people don't know about me is a big step for me, but perhaps I should leap before I look.

I'm an introvert, which is no big secret. However, what most people don't know is that I'm terrified that I'll end up alone.

Okay! Something light hearted! I'm not sure which is my favorite television show... it's either Big Bang Theory or The Walking Dead.

Everyone: Do you watch TV? And if so, what's your favorite show?

Everyone: What is something not commonly known about you? I'm not as tall as most people think. I apparently seem tall to people, even in person. Everyone: Do you watch TV? And if so, what's your favorite show? I don't watch a lot of tv, but when I do it's usually Big Bang.

I have many favourite TV shows but my absolute favourite would have to be LOST.

Yes, LOST was flawed at times but it transcended the medium of TV and took countless risks. Also, LOST made me think like no other series has. I researched many things as a result, grew in knowledge and formed my own theories based on mine and other people's findings. LOST has a bit of everything but it's the epitome of serialised TV. You just can't watch an episode here and there and understand it. I've watched all of the episodes several times over and I'm still mulling over some of the details. Also, I've bought and read 12 LOST-related books and continue to visit the LOSTpedia forums. Yes, I'm obsessed.

Not commonly known...Hmmm. In addition to being a great man, my grandfather was a tremendous college basketball coach who's legacy I still hear about from random people I meet.

Jullianna - Height, weight, shoe size? :p

Do you watch TV? And if so, what's your favorite show? Yep and there was a whole thread dedicated to them. :) I think I'd have to go with Stargate SG-1, but it's hardly on any more. Now I mostly just watch hockey.

I'm not Jullianna but I'll answer the question any way. I'm 196cm (6 foot, 5 inches) tall, weigh 87kg (not sure what that is in pounds) and have a shoe size of 14 (US).

Rachel - I'd love to meet a real Medieval Knight... What about you? Who do you want to meet?
That would be really neat!

I'm currently reading through The Chronicles of Narnia series, so right now I'd have to say Aslan. :) Though Thomas of Hunter would be super cool, too!

Guys, if you don't know who Thomas of Hunter is, he's the protagonist in Ted Dekker's Circle Quartet - Black, Red, White, Green.

I came to know the Lord in church when I was old enough to know, I had good Sunday school teachers who taught me of Him. I told God, though I knew I would sin and fail often, I was not going to leave Him, this at age 16 in the midst of parents bitter bickering ongoing three years to that day and their seperation when i was just about to start my senior year in HS.
I was the Lord's is what I am saying from growing up going to church, but i never learned of the Holy Spirit until age 31 , in June 2000 when water baptism inconceivably followed Holy Spirit baptism later that same night away from church.
I'm not speaking legalism either, just how the Lord led me to understand Him and His love, grace, mercy, for me at the deepest of levels inside me, I realized the Holy Spirit was God's inside me . SmileOn, i was referring to MS .
Thank you for sharing how the Lord has worked with you throughout your life. It's so exciting! I think it's fun to hear people's stories. I love that He reveals himself/truth to people in different ways and sometimes it's all at once while others it's a process. I'm so thankful for the Holy Spirit in my life and I can truly see the love of the Lord shine through you, through your posts. :)

As for the prayer request, thank you for asking. I certainly felt all the prayers. I'm a natural worrier and this was the first time in my life that I had peace in a very stressful situation. I met with the neurologist in September and he and my doctors were amazed to find absolutely nothing wrong with me; not even MS which is what they thought I had. Praise the Lord, I truly feel He healed/fixed whatever was wrong. I haven't had anymore blindness in my eye or pain in my wrists since. There are so many things that took place because of the whole doctors process, so all in all it was a blessing. :)

I think it's because of the heels. I'm 5.9 in heels and have very long legs, so I LOOK very tall, especially in pics, but I'm really not. It's an optical illusion. haha

I am in awe. I...I just don't know what to say. Uh...wow.

Teach me, oh gracious master. I am a sponge to absorb your knowledge... Grant me your wisdom.

How did you ask how much a woman weighs...and survive?

Well, it has never made a whole lotta sense to me to be afraid to talk about what I weigh. I'm not the Invisible Woman, so it's not exactly a secret if I ever get too far left/right of center, is it? :)

The fact that you're pretty much the ideal weight can't hurt either right? :D
