Do you think I will be condemned on the day of judgement for standing on the plain words of Christ when he walked this earth?
I think you are demonstrating a degree of stubborn intellectualism that demonstrates having been illuminated but not born again... which is getting more common all the time in my notice. IF my summation is accurate... you will be condemned... since a saved person MUST be born again. So before you decide to carry on with me over this... YOU ASKED... and that is my answer.

>>>>But then again Mark, it is not my place to convince you otherwise.<<<<

No it isn't, but you have tried to show him his error... which by now IMO it is fairly evident his error goes far beyond this simple little fixation and pollutes his doctrine entirely... as in What the purpose of the familial, patriarchal relationship of the trinity is FOR... how the principals develop thru the bible... etc.

Do you think I will be condemned on the day of judgement for standing on the plain words of Christ when he walked this earth?

ill you answer the above questiuon?

Keep running...

I believe what the bible states, the Father is the only true God. That to me is far more reliable than the nicene, creed, the most brilliant of schlars or theologians, or the reasoning of the most gifted, for they are the words of Christ Himself. I will not oppose them

That's not what the Bible says, brother.

Show us in the Greek where it says this...good luck.

You have just enough knowledge of scripture to make you dangerous to yourself and your eternal salvation.

Keep covering your eyes and ears to anything that disagrees with your world-view...

no point for you ignore the plainest of scripture on this subject in favour of reasoning that you wish to contradict it

Only a fool will deny that Jesus was not the Son of God. But, what glory did the Word have before He became the Son?

Well I notice you refused to answer the question(hardly suprising) but stubborn intellectualism????
I simply accept the plain statement of Christ, I leave it to others to intellectualise away what he said

My bottom line is the Bible Abiding, not man made reasoning.

If you can show me one plain verse of scripture from the entire bible that plainly states a person must believe Jesus is the one true God Himself unto salvation, I will of course believe you

We appear to have a strange Bible don't we-even cryptic you could say. One where the core requirement for salvation is not plainly written in it. That's handy for the theologian and scholar isn't it:)

I know a lady who went to church every sunday for 60 years... never missed a day except when she was having a baby... she had 8. She prayed and did good works, talked about God and heaven... then one day her daughter was talking with her and made referenece that Jesus was God. The woman flew into a manical rage yelling at her daughter to no speak blaspheme... her daughter told her to go tell her pastor. Well the woman did... and FINALLY got born again... how one can sit in church for over 60 years and never get that jesus is God.. is beyond me... but that woman finally got saved when she went to tattle on her daughter... the good pastor was able to show her the truth.

If I asked you if you would condemn as unfit to preach any minister who refused to plainly state what to you is salvational belief from the pulpit I wonder if you would reply, lets see.
Do you condemn as unfit to preach any minister who refuses to stand in the pulpit and plainly state from it if a person believes Jesus is the son of God but not God himself they cannot be saved with thet belief and therefore will go to hell

I assume you believe it is incumnbemnt on every minister to plainly state friom the pulpit what is and what is not acceptable belief unto salvation concerning the person of who Christ is and the consequences of getting it wrong

Lets see if your conviction on this website carries over outside of it

No you did not answer it

Christ and John plainly stated a person must believe Christ is the son of God unto salvation, not God Himself, did they lie?

Mark,

would you just humble your ego for a second and see that she did answer you. You know people read and they will see that not only did she answer, but a boat load of others have to. What point are you making when you continiously say that no one is answering you.

Why do you not answer the question in the post you are responding to Cfultz?

Do you not think it outrageous if a minster from the pulpit refuses to plainly state what is and what is not acceptable belief unto vsalvation and the consequences of getting it wrong

Does it not make your heart cry out in anguish for people not plainly being told the truth froim the pulpit, are you not outraged?

Easier to just malignm me than answer the question I guess

Thats not your purpose here. You already had much agreement that teaching Jesus is the Son of God is fine.
Not one true Christian has ever not believed that or had a problem with that.

Also i dont think "Anyone" but you has gone on and said any idea other than that saves. But thats
no why your here.

You said Jesus was NOT God. Thats why your here. Thats totally clear. At least now for me it is.
