Not only are you to hear the word....for salvation takes not only the hearing of the word but also the following;

Heb.5
[9] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

One must also OBEY those words that you hear!

.
Amen, but still, one thing is needful to obey as well, and that is to hear the Word of God at the feet of Jesus.

And how are we to hear the word of God at the feet of Jesus? Jesus is no longer with us..He is sitting at the right hand of the Father.

Jesus did, however, leave us this great work of art called the bible by which we can learn of Him and what must be done for salvation!

We are "Human Beings". We are made of flesh and blood. God and the angels are NOT Human beings! Spirit Beings are not made of flesh and blood as are we.

I said God is a "Spirit Being"! Just as angels are "Spirit Beings"!

There are ONLY (2) beings.....those made of flesh and blood; animals and us humans. And then there are "Spirit Beings"; God and the angels!

Did you not know that God and the angels are "Spirit Beings"

Fruit that is mature has flesh to eat. This is the flesh from Heaven.

Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Joh 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

Joh 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

Not quite sure what the above has to do with what I posted! What are you trying to say? Quoting scriptures with no explanation does not edify anyone!

Jesus is surely with us, and we are His flesh and His bones. Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Christ has a body. Christ is with us, otherwise we cannot do any good whatsoever. We can't take credit for good, it's all God working through us, and we are members of His body.

I tell you the truth. Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, he has passed over from death to life
John 5:24

I tell you the truth, if anyone hears my word he will never see death
John 8:51

When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread. [SUP]6 [/SUP]“Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”[SUP]7 [/SUP]They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.”
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread? [SUP]9 [/SUP]Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? [SUP]10 [/SUP]Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? [SUP]11 [/SUP]How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” [SUP]12 [/SUP]Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

I was just clarifying that flesh does exist in Heaven, otherwise fruit does not exist in Heaven.

I understand now.....you are one that believes that Christ is sitting besides the Father as a flesh and blood being!

If that is the case...why must we be "born again" into a spirit body? For even Jesus had to be "born again" before being accepted by the Father as a perfect sacrifice after His death!

Christ is with us because His "WORDS", if we read and do them, are with us.

John 16
[7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Jesus HAD to leave so that He could present Himself as a sacrifice for sin. When that happened, when He left He left us with His words...which too are spirit.

John 6
[63] It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

That is what we now have...the "words" of Christ are with us...they are what dwells inside. His words are the spirit that is within.

Mark = black Me = purple

I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be,[SUP][a][/SUP] you will indeed die in your sins.”

Correction : Joh 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Mark, whatever bible you are reading this is the second time that it has added words which are not in the Greek. I implore you to reconsider this translation.

This is a wind up, it must be!

I am Mark 54 and I hope you believe that

Who did Jesus claim to be?

charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ,[SUP][e][/SUP] the Son of God.” [SUP]64 [/SUP]“Yes, it is as you say,” Jesus replied

Correction: Luk 22:67 Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

yOU know, I quote you the plain words of Christ If you think this translation is the word of God unadulterated, Mark, you have another thing coming. Do you not see how it has been poluted with men's thoughts?

confirming only the Father is the one true God, you refuse to accept it, doing your theological study with it, then you produce John 8:24 where Christ is supposed to contradict himself and say he is God Himself-which he does not

Please do not give me anymore scripture, enough already Why would Scripture be so upsetting? Mark, that translation does not agree to the orginal Greek.

Mark, is it ok to quote a corrupt bible? Do you think it is really ok?

I repeat. Do you think the KJV is corrupt?
Just in one post, Mark, it was shown to you that translation contained added words and re-arranged wording to fit a certain doctrine. Yet, you quote it as though it is God's word.

Would you answer the question
Is the KJV corrupt?

I can set here all day talking Scripture with you in love. But when it comes to polluting God's written word, that is a total different story.
