Mark,

Before you claim victory in saying that Jesus is not God, would you like to continue our discussion about the Word and how He LEFT HIS GLORY in Heaven to take on the flesh of man and how He RECEIVED that same glory back when He returned?

What glory: the glory which belongs only to an only begotten, the glory of having created all things, the glory we define when we say Creator. Indeed, He, the Word, upholds all things by His own power. Truly, only God can create and uphold ALL THINGS by His own POWER.

Come and let us reason my Brother. Only God is worthy of worship, this we all know. We are told to worship the Creator of all things. The Word, the same One we know as Jesus in the flesh, created all things. Did the Word become less God because He placed human flesh upon Himself? Did not the Son, who is that same Word, receive His glory back?
It was the glory of Jehovah to take on the flesh of man in order to give to us the Holy Spirit. For it would not be possible for us to become the sons of God without it. The humanity is the example of how to do that. The Holy Spirit, if allowed to work, shows us how to know Jehovah.

So Cfultz a person does not have to believe Jesus is the son of God, or God to be saved, you would just tell someone you evangelised to they must believe that some chap called Jesus as Christ died for them on the cross. Do you not think they may be a little confused?
Thank you for allowing me to explain myself.

Yes they must believe He is the Son of God.

BUT,

they must also accept Him as their Christ. (If He is not there Savior, then who will be)

BUT,

they must also have faith. (without faith, it is impossible to please God)

BUT,

they must also be lead by the Spirit. (as many as are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God)

BUT,

they must also accept Him as Lord. (one cannot have two masters)

BUT,

they must also forgive. (if you do not forgive, neither will the Father fogive you)

etc....

So, I guess just believing in a name is not enough.

It is not my understanding at all that Jehovah is the Holy Spirit. Jehovah is the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is a separate entity from both the Father and Jehovah. They call themselves one because they think and act as one each with their own job.
The Father is the planner.
Jehovah is the creator.
The Holy Spirit is the teacher.
The Holy Spirit does not enter into the Body until it's burial. This is how it is resurrected.
Several times throughout Paul 's writing, he pushes the point, that we are dead in Christ. This means that we are resurrected in His likeness. Not Jehovah, however. Wee are in the likeness of the humanity, who, throughout his thirty-some years it is Jehovah that controlled the situation while the humanity learned what to do and how to serve the Father.
I have never heard before anyone saying the Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost are two seperate persons if you like, could you explain

Hi,

I am speaking of the glory He had before leaving Heaven and the same glory He asked for back.

But where Christ is concerned, a person has to believe in a name/title for the person who died for them on the cross, i accept the rest of what you say
But, you are saying a person must believe that the Son of God died for them on the cross in order to be saved, that is ultimately THE NAME they must believe in(or title if you like) is that correct?

RIGHT so the one name is Jesus of Nazareth, that is the bottom line
So it does not matter if a person believes jesus of Nazareth to be a prophet, God, or son of God, as long as they believe in the name Jesus of Nazareth they are saved

Well if that is the case, they may as well believe in a dustman called jesus of Nazareth

It's hogwash
I wrote Jesus (Holy Earthen Vessel with no beginning or measure) CHRIST (The Father---Holy Spirit/Holy Soul without measure and without beginning) of Nazareth. The Father is the Anointed One. There are no scriptures anywhere to indicate that Christ and The Father are not the same one and only God.

Joh 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
We can see the Holy Spirit/Soul combo (The Father/Christ) in the Holy Earthen Vessel with no beginning (Jesus). If the Holy Soul/Spirit of God revealed His appearance without an earthen vessel to us while we dwell in these earthen vessels, then our earthen vessels would be destroyed from such great and powerful Light. When our earthen vessels are made of the new earth, then things will be different. Christ is The Father/God/I AM, with no beginning or ending, and Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Father in an approachable earthen vessel with no beginning, approachable even for us. God has no beginning, Jesus has no beginning, Christ has no beginning, The Father has no beginning, and The Holy Spirit has no beginning. The I Am (Jesus Christ of Nazareth) has no beginning, and is God our Father, and The Son of God, and The Holy Spirit without measure. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is God. Or do I need to go back to when He was worshipped before we called Him Jesus Christ of Nazareth?

Well I have read it quickly but you CANNOT GIVE ME ONE NAME CHRIST MUST BE BELIEVED TO BE UNTO SALVATION
Whether
Son of God
God
Prophet
Dustman
or CANdlestickmaker
Frankly this is apalling and the problem when you refuse to stick with the plain word

If you met a desperate person on the street who wanted to cry out to God to be saved
Just who will you tell them died on the cross for them?

Don't tell me, I know
Some chap called Jesus of Nazareth

Sorry, but you joined this debate tonight seeming to infer you were on the 'meat' but not everyone was, but you cannot even give me a title/name/person Jesus must be believed to be to inherit eternal life apart from a name that could apply to almost anybody

I am almost persuadest to take Zone off ignore, at least she would give me a name

Wil you confirm if I am correct in the above?

Or is there a problem in doing so?

You don't think that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a name? I already told you Jesus Christ of Nazareth is God. There is no other name that can save us, but Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I cannot give you any other name, I'm sorry, it's Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and there is NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN, given among men whereby we must be saved. There's no salvation in any other but Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth refers to Almighty God. Almighty God refers to the I AM. How else can I explain to you that Jesus Christ of Nazareth (that's the name you're looking for) is the one and only name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved? Jesus Christ of Nazareth (that's the name of the fullness of the Godhead bodily).

Col 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Col 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

They must believe that He is their Savior (believing that He is the only One who does deliver them).

You say, or at least imply, that He must be called a certain name in order to receive salvation. But, I, however, also see this as another means of receiving salvation:

2Ti 3:15 .... thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

My point: it is the faith in the One God sent by which salvation is obtained. Who is the One God sent: Jesus: the Christ, the Son of God, Lord, and whatever other title He is named in Scripture.

So, you meet someone in the street who is in a desperate state and wants to accept Christ as their Saviour.

You say Jesus Christ of Nazareth is God
Simple Question, before you pray with a person who wants to accept Jesus of Nazareth into their life will you tell them they have to believe that he is God and they must belIeve in that name(God) if they are to be saved?

Or will you not mention your belief that Jesus is God and just tell them they can believe in the name Jesus of Nazareth

Ultimately WHICH NAME MUST THEY BELIEVE IN JESUS OF NAZARETH OR GOD UNTO SALVATION?

Easy question to answer

You are in such a mess now, you really are. You just cannot simply respond with one name can you.
And yet, this is the very core of the Gospel
Now I know you'll tell me you are not in a mess but you are, just like John, why oh why can you not just stick with what scripture plainly states must be believed rather than look to man

Once John has answered(if he does) I'll tell you what name has to be believed in

What is sad is that you think calling Him a certain name will grant you salvation, when we all know that faith in Him grants salvation. Scripture says faith and you say name. Who are we to believe?

I don't know how many times I have to say it..... God and Jesus Christ of Nazareth are the same, and the one and only specific name under heaven referring to God that can save us.......is..........Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Twist it all you want Cfuiltz, but despite the need for faith and repentance there still has to BE A NAME you must believe in

Well I am sorry to be rude, but your responses have been awful(to put it politely)

Now I will give you the scriptural name, then you will most likely argue about it, cause otherwise you'd have to admit you are wrong, and so may Cfultz argue too

KJV Cfultz

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,[SUP][d][/SUP] and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

People, is it really even worth having everything you say treated as though it came from satan himself? No one will be found innocient with him, but all will be looked upon as someone out to deceive. Really!!!!

The bible is ABSOLUTELY CLEAR as to the name we must believe Christ to have to inherit etrnal life, it is the Son of God

The ministers in the churches do not demand anything more than that(or a very very few may)
Over 90% of the congregations wouldn't ask more than that either, but can people on the internet accerpt the plain words of scripture?

Some do, many will not

What is the point of you and I discussing anything when you refuse to accept the very plainest of scripture in debate
