Well I am sorry to be rude, but your responses have been awful(to put it politely)

Now I will give you the scriptural name, then you will most likely argue about it, cause otherwise you'd have to admit you are wrong, and so may Cfultz argue too

KJV Cfultz

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,[SUP][d][/SUP] and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
1John5:13

What is the one and only specific name given under heaven of the Son of God? Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our perfect example of what a son of God should be. I suppose you don't think that believing in Jesus Christ of Nazareth is believing in the name of the Son of God?

What a surprise, and the epitomy of why people on the internet make extra biblical demands for salvation the ministers won't make in the Trinitarian churches, nor would over 90% of thier congregations make either

Mark, when you tell someone they must believe in the name of the Son of God, what name do you tell them is the name of the Son of God?

Are you talking about the congregations and ministers that think the everlasting priesthood tithes to the everlasting priesthood? Many are confused about who they really are.

You know what, I'll just be honest, its a pride thing. People come on the internet, believing they have stuidied much, learnt much and therefore know much and they come to show off what they think they know, as they see themselves as leading lights to others.
I read your posts earlier, inferring you were on the meat but others probably were not where you were at.
And it is pride, head theology that makes people on these websites demand extra biblical beliefs unto salvation, they won't ever yeild, no matter what you show them, and when you ask them to condemn ministers who refuse to state plainly from the puilpit what to them is acceptable and unacceptable belief as to who Christ is unto salvation and the consequences of getting it wrong they refuse to reply, they wash their hands of it.
And yet, you all will rail against the RC church won't you for incorrect doctrineBut preaching what to you is salvational beliefs from the pulpit, you ain't bothered in the slightest if it does not happen

Zone is on my ignore list, due to the fact she constantly wanted to ask me questions but never wanted to answer any.
And I have to say, that is not a good testimony for someone who has spent great amounts of time striving to learn of scholars and theologians

do you now, or will you at any time worship Jesus Christ The Son of God?

simplified for you.
one question.

If anyone takes these kind of websites seriously, they are mad.

No wonder two ministers shook their heads and laughed when I told them what people were demanding belief wise for salvation on the internet, and where they reckoned you would spend eternity if you only believed Jesus was the son of God.

I worship Christ as my Lord and Saviour now
since you assert Jesus is not God, and you worship Him,

that makes you an idolator of the highest magnitude, according to your own theology.

plain and simple.
end of story.

bye mark.

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? [SUP]21 [/SUP]For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. [SUP]22 [/SUP]For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; [SUP]23 [/SUP]but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks[SUP][b][/SUP] foolishness, [SUP]24 [/SUP]but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Glory Only in the Lord

[SUP]26 [/SUP]For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. [SUP]27 [/SUP]But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; [SUP]28 [/SUP]and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, [SUP]29 [/SUP]that no flesh should glory in His presence. [SUP]30 [/SUP]But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— [SUP]31 [/SUP]that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]c[/SUP][SUP]]

[/SUP]And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]a[/SUP][SUP]][/SUP] of God. [SUP]2 [/SUP]For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. [SUP]3 [/SUP]I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. [SUP]4 [/SUP]And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]b[/SUP][SUP]][/SUP] wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
[SUP]5 [/SUP]that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. [SUP]19 [/SUP]For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; [SUP][a][/SUP] [SUP]20 [/SUP]and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile

And now you won't answer what the name of the Son of God is? Do you agree that the name of The Captain of the Host of the Lord, and the name of the priest forever after the order of Melchisidec, and the name of the Son of God is Jesus Christ of Nazareth?

Although this ended the heresy in the empire, Arianism continued among some of the Germanic tribes to the end of the 7th century. In modern times some Unitarians are virtually Arians in that they are unwilling either to reduce Christ to a mere human being or to attribute to him a divine nature identical with that of the Father. The Christology of Jehovah’s Witnesses, also, is a form of Arianism; they regard Arius as a forerunner of Charles Taze Russell, the founder of their movement.

Readers,
Note that Mark continues to use a bible which adds words, re-arrange the order of words to fit a certain demonation.

Correction:

1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

The Greek,
1Jn 5:13: I wrote these things to you*, those who are placing confidence (believe) into the name of the Son of God so that you* would had known that you* have everlasting life and so that you* would place confidence (believe) into the name of the Son of God.

Simply put, we are to believe in the Son from God. Nowheres does this say that we have to call Him a certain name.

A quick study of the Greek word for 'name' will give an understanding that it also implies 'authority' . When we believe that Jesus is able to do what He says He is able to do (forgive, raise from the dead, give life, etc..) with the understanding that He was giving all authority by God, we then see that we trust Him with our souls.

There are too many names given to Jesus to say that He is to be called a certain name just to receive salvation.

Let's not forget that Jesus is only the Mighty God of the New Testament according to him.

I thought we'd end up at the Greek
You know, one of the first people I ever discussed with on the internet, expected me to take his scriptures as plainly written
But often when I put my scriptures to him I got the following replies:

You're taking scripture out of context
We need to check the ancient manuscripts
We must read the bible as a cohesive whole

it cracked me up, it really did

Well, even if you won't answer, I thank you for more practice, and for an edifying conversation.
After all that kerfuffle with trying to get you to explain who we must believe Christ to be unto salvation, I've had enough.

But anyways, I know now you won't accept the plain words of John
So I guess you would never expect me, to be consistent to accept any other of Johns plain words either. John ch1 comes to mind. You know what, I'm gonna quit tryin to give straightfoerward answers from, now on, irt just puts you at a disadvantage.:(

Actuially, the only name you didn't mention as to the name we must believe Christ to be unto salvation was the one John plainly states on more than one occassion, we must believe in, the son of God
