The point is, Christ said ONLY ONE OF THOSE PERSONAGES was the ONE TRUE GOD(The Father)

Not.

Show us where in the Greek that He ever said that, brother.

You are simply perpetuating your lack of scriptural knowledge....start studying....

btw....you look like you are about to burn-out.....you are logged-in 24/7 and think that you have to be the last one to reply - always....living on caffeine and adrenaline is a dead-end street, brother...

You know for people with part time beliefs, it must be a bit like that dog, i mean, you have to keep refocusing don't you when you come and go from the website, that must be a bit like being in a spin;)

dogfight:rolleyes:
Whose dog you got your money on?

Smart money is on Abiding's dog.

Mark:
is the "ridiculous position" Abiding finds himself in his belief that JESUS IS GOD?
is that the "ridiculous position" of those on this site you deplore.

(questions will go unanswered because Mark now knows i know who he is)

You do a lota' that.

you would be upset at any minster that will not plainly preach one is acceptable belief and one is not, and would then feel compelled to speak to them Don't know what all the fuss has been about then
I'm gonna' be upset with over 80% of the preachers in the world. . .and feel compelled to speak to them. . .

You traffic in a lot of assumption and conjecture.

Just note Elin
WELL OVER 90% of churchgoers would fully embrace a person as a Christian if they simply believed Christ was the son of God and that was it.

Cause they ain't head theologists

Actually I think I'm going to have to put a couple more people who have part time beliefs on ignore, that sure is a wonderful device, as I have found out.

David poured over and meditated day and night on the word. Imagine how he learned the
gospel inside the Law. What a headtheologist huh?

As i said a few times. Noone is wrong believing Jesus is the Son of God. Only you have contended that.
Again its one thing to stay there. Its another thing to say Jesus is NOT God. Just trying to keep you on track.

Show me a verse which states that The Father is The Spirit.

That's a sticking point for Trinity-deniers...they think that The Father is God...and that The Spirit is God....therefore they reason that The Father is The Spirit.

NOT!

There's only one Biblical Trinity.

Please make sure that you understand it...

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. . .the power of the Highest [God]

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:. . . How shall this be?. . .The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall over shadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
btw...how's that study on 'The Truth' coming along...?
I am going into the book of Romans this afternoon . . . but I posted the verse we were looking at John 4:23,24 at #684.

If i am disagreeing with you Peacefulbeliever I do so with trepidation, for I have a lot of respect for what you write.

In all their distress he too was distressed,
and the angel of his presence saved them.
In his love and mercy he redeemed them;
he lifted them up and carried them
all the days of old.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Yet they rebelled
and grieved his Holy Spirit.

So he turned and became their enemy
and he himself fought against them.
Then his people recalled[SUP][a][/SUP] the days of old,
the days of Moses and his people—
where is he who brought them through the sea,
with the shepherd of his flock?
Where is he who set
his Holy Spirit among them,
[SUP]12 [/SUP]who sent his glorious arm of power
to be at Moses’ right hand,
who divided the waters before them,
to gain for himself everlasting renown,
[SUP]13 [/SUP]who led them through the depths?
Isaiah 63:9-13

The Holy Spirit went with the Israelites in the desert
We know Christ did too (1Cor10:4)

But:
I will send an angel before you and drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. [SUP]3 [/SUP]Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way.”[SUP]4 [/SUP]When the people heard these distressing words, they began to mourn and no one put on any ornaments. [SUP]5 [/SUP]For the Lord had said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I were to go with you even for a moment, I might destroy you. Now take off your ornaments and I will decide what to do with you.’”[SUP]6 [/SUP]So the Israelites stripped off their ornaments at Mount Horeb.
ex33:2-6

Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’ [SUP]13 [/SUP]If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”
[SUP]14 [/SUP]The Lord replied, “My Presence(isaiah63:9) will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

[SUP]15 [/SUP]Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. [SUP]16 [/SUP]How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”

[SUP]17 [/SUP]And the Lord said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.”
eX33:12-17

It seems God did not go with the Israelites in the dessert, but Christ and the Holy Spirit did

Mark54, I haven't been reading through this entire thread so forgive me if this has already been stated. But have you also shown that Jesus couldn't possibly be God since he is one of Gods creations, as stated in the Bible numerous times, and since God is eternal and is a created being Jesus doesn't fit the role.

(Revelation 3:14) “...These are the things that the Amen [Jesus] says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God..."

(Colossians 1:15) "...He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation..."

The scripture you keep going on about at John 17:3 is a fine example that Jesus isn't God, which again states "...This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God..." (John 17:3) it also reminds me of the scripture at 1 Corinthians 8:6

(1 Corinthians 8:6) "..there is actually to us one God the Father.."

Can anyone bear witness as to who this man is?

Jos 5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?

Jos 5:14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

Jos 5:15 And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

An angle of God!

Hi

i'll come to the above in a miniute

See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. [SUP]21 [/SUP]Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.[SUP]22 [/SUP]If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you. [SUP]23 [/SUP]My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.
ex 23:20-23

Can I ask you?

who is speaking to Moses in the above verses?

Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up [SUP]10 [/SUP]and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of sapphire,[SUP][b][/SUP] clear as the sky itself. [SUP]11 [/SUP]But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank.
Ex24:9-11

Christ appeared to the elders

Can I ask you?

Who is speaking to Moses in Exodus ch33?
The one that later became known as the Son of God, or Jesus Christ!

Show me a verse which states that The Father is The Spirit.

Good luck...

The bible says God IS a spirit!

Now show me a verse that says The Spirit/Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost/The Comforter is a God!

Firstborn has to do with what? Adam on? Or a new creation?
How can He be the first born as far as Adam and also be the creator?

The Son both created all things and is also the firstborn of the new creation.
