yes Jesus has won the victory.
but we can have sweet victory now by carrying on with life as God intended.
having kids; travelling; studying.

we can't add one minute to our lives by worrying.
and if and when the time comes, that's when it will matter to us personally.

and we WILL love our lives not unto death if need be.

meantime, we live MORE.
not less.
we know this isn't our home.

but we can get a little revenge by not living in fear or discouragement.
don't let 'em steal our joy.

there's only a few of them.

because they really do know Jesus is Our Fortress.

It makes law enforcement a whole lot easier, which is great if you are looking for a serial killer, but we cannot be naïve about how else it can be used.

LOL! True enough. :) I've had a lot of people come at me with intent of bodily harm, but, as zone is saying, God is able to keep us. Stay bold, even if it's just typing. We all start somewhere.

Yes, it is such a great point that we should not spend so much of our time, or even a little time, worrying about things we may not be able to control. To let things negatively consume our minds, our energy and our emotions. I definitely think it is better to go through live encouraging, and to know that 'Jesus has won the victory' - that there will always be crappy times in life, bad leaders, horrible things we disagree with, and we just need to keep our heads up and not let that take away a joyful life that we can have. Thank you for this reminder.

It takes me longer to text and reply to a text than just calling. Besides, "they" would be bored to tears with my conversations.

"Hey, where are ya?"

"At work."

"Whatcha doing?"

"Working."

"When will you be home?"

"After work."
