Osteen has been mixing Word of Faith teachings into his messages a long time now. And since the foundations of Word of Faith are in New Age teachings, its nothing new.
This is the same genius that said he went to India, came back and said 'i don't know what they believe over there, but i can tell they really love God.' Mind you Indians believe in a multitude of Gods.
I had a 'bad gut feeling' about Osteen since day one, my spirit was unsettled by him. The more i learn about him, the more evidence i see as to why that has always been that way.

Joel Osteen is a humble man of God and, hmm, what other kind of threads do you do, I must check, now, alpha, and, see if I can find a way to end this rotten accusation, I'm guessing you are anti-WOF, or, LOL, that goes without saying, doesn't it. I do not judge you for your W.O.F. belief but, I think it is dangerous as all get-out to condemn those who are reaching the lost, even doing so of questionable means, you just don't know (do you?) that they are 100% NOT in the Lord's army, doing work that, just maybe, no one else will do.
Why must people who believe doctrine differently, but STILL believe in Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord demonize another of the SAME faith. SAME. Both have faith in God's grace that saved us from our sins, now, and, forevermore, and, all past sins gone to the minute , and, moment, we BRING them to Him
Imagine Osteen's job, too, and, how long has he been preaching now in Houston to the biggest congregation in the USA? 10 years? 15?
His record is clean, I think He is using Osteen in great ways, I saw Joel on Piers Anthony and he and his wife are the humblest twosome, who just follow the Lord, and, smile. And, sorry, if smiling sucks to you, GET OVER IT

Why can't God's will be done?

Joel Osteen is a 'Christ'ian, who believes in Christ . He believes in God's will, 'Thy will be done,' for all people, his conviction and faith to let God's power correct/rebuke/scourge/reproof them.

If Osteen believes in Christ and Christ crucified, it's good enough for me. We are to live in the presence of God. Joel does. Moses did. Abraham did. Many didn't. They were apostate. Again, THINK before speaking out against someone who is leading sooo many to Christ

No worries, believe your way, I mine, books and co., I'm going to believe and judge people His way, and, oddly enough His way to judge others is by believing in Christ, that's the tie that binds us, you, I, and, all who believe on Him, understanding His grace, through faith, is what saves us.

Get to REALLY know God, , so many, sigh, park God on the tarmac of their life after He's led them thru tuf stuff, and then that personl goes flying off on a life that suits their way, and, not His, which is very SIMPLE: Love Him. Love others.
Soooo simple.
When you do His work as He leads you--good works, you can throw away the books.
Live the life of Him for you, He knows how, with who, of what, to where, and, why you're going His way, accepting Thy's will for your life, no matter how 'crucifying' it WILL be.
