1. Like many fellow posters, I do not sleep with socks on. Just doesn't happen.
Good. You can be our club treasurer.
Splendid! Time to start collecting dues; treasurer's gotta eat.
2. I always drink coffee (hot or iced) through a straw.
Well, duh. That's the only way to do it. Except for drinking hot coffee through a straw. This makes you weird.
No, this makes me awesome.
3. I once won a scholarship for a free week at the American Numismatic Society's summer "camp" session.
I had to look up Numismatic, and how did you get into it?
Reader's Digest version: it was a hobby of mine back in the day, and I got in good with the local Young Numismatists organizer. That's also how I was bitten by the travel bug.
4. I usually get on better, and converse more smoothly, with women, but would rather spend the afternoon napping than at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
How about napping IN the BB and B store?
You've got yourself a deal. Except, I won't be a napper; I'll be a bed demonstrator. With my socks off.
5. When I was a teen, I would sometimes travel all the way to the Philadelphia suburbs just to hang out in the malls there.
Oh yeah, I ALWAYS traveled to Philly to hang out in the malls there. I still do!
Wonderful! We have got to hit up the Chick-Fil-A at Oxford Valley one of these days. Unless King of Prussia has one.
Two reasons:
1. Because, much like Mount Everest, it was there.
2. I'd seen all the malls in and around New York City, and ached for something new to explore.

Why would you travel all the way to Philly, anyway?
