I know Jesus humbled himself, but Jesus stated only the Father is the one true God, your shallow man made theology of the little grey cells cannot change the plain words of Christ on this earth
You asked me his name and I said Jesus which means "Jehovah is salvation."

Now do you accept that Jesus is the God of the Old Testament.

You know bowman, asking for scripturally proof is often when things go wrong. I mean lets be honest, even if mark showed you scripture proving his point you would deny it anyways and find scripture to prove yours. I have seen this happen so much i am able to tell the outcome, As i said before proof is not needed isn't that faith is for? But then again its very easy also to be taught something even if its wrong and if you believe in that teaching you will be very stubborn and defend that belief to the death. So why are you asking for scripture when you know you are not going to change your mind?

He was the God of Israel who appeared to 74 elders in Ex24:9-11
BUT
No one has seen God(the one true God) AT ANY TIME
Well mark i have met god twice and he isn't some old man with a white beard and intense eyes. When i met him he had no body form he was more like a spirit form, which would make sense as to why he can be at all place at all time. The second time we met he said i needed to stop drinking so much coffee. i told him i needed it to wake up in the morning and said Then just drink it in the morning, sort of in a tone thats like- jeez man just drink morning coffee.

That was not the true God who as you say no-one has seen, except in a pillar of smoke or as fire. If you read about the Golden Calf you will see they called the image LORD. They had multiple gods, but the true God they called Jehovah who is Jesus.

(This is harder than when I used to talk to atheists.)

Mark is a non-Trinitarian, and yet, he ignorantly presents Trinitarian rendered scriptures for his assertions.

When pressed to defend the very scriptures that he presents for his position, he folds.

Not very impressive.

Not convincing anyone.

I respect an individual who can scripturally defend what he claims.

Mark does not garner any respect.

As i said before proof is not needed isn't that faith is for?

Scripture defines 'faith' as 'acting upon established truth'.

Again...it goes back to scripture.

Study up...!

Scripturally 'change my mind'.....

I am sure it is, I doubt they knew much scripture

But you unfortunatelty do not even understand the scriptural requirement unto salvation, yet at the same time you believe you know much biblical truth and can teach others

No bowman i will not use scripture just to prove a point to you, and you tell me to study up? Do you truly know what faith is and what it takes? True faith is made when the connection of the hearts of god and his children are made. when we love him with all our being and seek to know him and his heart regardless of what people think. All i see in your post is scripture knowledge, you can know all the scripture in the whole bible by heart but still not understand the meaning of faith. Faith is love, god himself is the very being of love

There is simply no excuse in this day and age for someone to neglect studying the original languages of scripture.

People who refuse to do so are simply not very dedicated to the word of God.

Simple...

you have to understand BLaine, the Holy Spirit is limited in what He can bring you to understand from the English trasnslations, He relies on you studying the Greek and ancient manuscruipts to show you real truth(according to some who do not rely on the Spirit to learn but the little grey cells)

Ignore thm Blaine, flee from them, or you will simply be left with shallow head theology of the egotistical mind

Oh? so you are judging others because they do not study the original language? Do you know how hard it was for me to even make it through school? i have severe brain damage. Who are you to judge others? you see i am seeking to see out of the eyes of Jesus, and Jesus does not judge us for how we learn his word and he does not see us the way we do. I am dedicated to god and thats where my heart is, so keep your judgmental comments to your self escpecailly if you do not understand the problems and situations of others

Re: Your're stuck too...

No.

You didn't even post any Greek to begin with for comparison.

You don't know Greek.

You don't know the Trinity.

Period.

you don't know me. PERIOD!!!!!

LOL Come back when i am done making excuses, thats a funny way to put a medical problemXD everyone lets just give bowman his space and give him the silent treatment he is time out. Naughty naughty;] so i was just reading mark and i found out alot of cool stuff, it was at the part of how Jesus came to fulfill the law. It really made me think too, because god doesn't just want us to show our light by our actions but our very thoughts too. I have been trying to think like jesus but lets be honest that isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. But- not impossible so there is hope

The Son is the true God...and thousands saw Him and lived to tell about it...
1Jo 5:20 KJV - And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true (the Father), and we are in him that is true (the Father), [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Of the seventy times in which the demonstrative pronoun ουτος has a personal referent in the Gospel of John and his Epistles, the Father is never the referent! This fact, along with proximity, significantly increases the likelihood that Jesus Christ is the antecedent in the case of 1 John 5.20, as thus…

oidamen de hoti ho huios tou theou hēkei kai dedōken hēmin dianoian hina ginōskōmen ton alēthinon kai esmen en tō huiō autou Iēsou Christō houtos estin ho alēthinos theos kai zōē aiōnios

And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the true One, and we are in the true One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life eternal. (1 John 5.20)
