@Mark

Jesus plainly told us to "Come unto Him" and he also told us "Before Abraham I AM."

You are fond of talking about "the plain words of Christ" but for that we need to heed all of Christ's teaching. It is unwise to ignore some of the plain words of Jesus because that makes a lie of the truth by the sin of omission.

If we fail to believe and accept those plain words of Jesus, then we are in danger of becoming a heretic and I don't want that for you Mark because I love you with Christian love.
pS
You do not love me with Christian love, they are shallow words that are not sincere

If you had heartfelt conviction on this subject you would have to condemn the ministers in Trinitarian churches, but you stay silent. thereby proving this for you is not about sincere conviction, but trying to be seen to win a theological argument, there is no love for others in that, only seeking recognition for yourself

@Mark

The Bible is there for you to read and accept in its entity. If you reject some of the plain words of Christ then that is your decision and you cannot blame other people for the course you take.

However it is the course YOU take on which YOU will be judged.
The thing is PS, I stand on the plain scripture and you never answer any questions I put to you on this subject, you just keep coming back with more of your own and then saying they prove you are right. I know this is largely due to your church denoimination , for this is so typical of what I was used to seeing in my youth.

I know, to you I will be damned to hell for standing on the oplain words of Christ when he walked this earth, you have already made that clear
But one day you will be asnswerable for such blasphemy, and on that day you will have ni reply to give, but have to bow the knee, trembling as you do so

Re: Your're stuck too...

I haven't the time to go through all of it. I can only say that much of the NT has been altered. The OT has been held in regard by the Jewish faith and therefore unaltered. Therefor the NT has to be compared to the OT.
Meritless assertions.

You see, you can never respnd to any of my points can you, and this despite me spending much time answering a list of questions you put to me. It does not relect well on you PS. But I repeat, this is typical of what I saw in my youth.

Let me repeat
Christ says there is one true God, the FATHER
pAUL Says, yet for us there is one God the Father
John says no one has seen God at anytime
Neither Christ, Paul, Peter James or John demanded what you do, neither to nearly all the ministers in trinitarian churches, nor nearly all of their congregations, can you face these truths? no!

You have to blindly ignore them but keep coming back with the same old mantra

I fully agree with the emboldened, so don't know why you disagree with what I write

I say sincerely it would help if you simply fully explain your core belief of this subject. I have read some of your statements and the scripture you put forth but am not sure entirely where you stand

If I have thus far correctly understood you, the Father is supreme and greater than the Son, he is the one true God, but the Son has the title God
All of the above I completely agree with
The Holy Spirit, sent by Jehovah, from the Father, is the same that raised that Holy thing that Jehovah dwelt in for 30+ years. Jesus was raised by Jehovah.

Rom 8:11 KJV - But if the Spirit (Jehovah) of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he (The Holy Spirit) that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his (The Father) Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Rom 6:4 KJV - Therefore we are buried with him (Jesus the humanity) by baptism into death: that like as Christ (Jehovah and the Body) was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

That same Holy Spirit is the one that indwells our mortal flesh, so that we, being dead shall be raised in that day.

Luk 1:35 KJV - And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Well to me, to put it simply, the Holy Spirit fully resides in the Body of Christ, as when Christ walked this earth the SpIrit was on him in BODILY SHAPE/FORM

That is how Christ and the Father are one
For Christ prayed to the Father
That they(the believers) may be one AS we are one(John17:22)

And the only way we can be as one is in the Holy Spirit, no other way, but we still remain two individual people

That they may be one AS we are one

Are you assuming Jehovah to be the Holy Spirit.

Now. However it was Jehovah who indwelt the Body during it's 33+ years. The Holy Spirit raised up the dead Body.

But who is God? Jesus or the Holy Spirit?

yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

And what about the Holy Spirit, Is He God or not?

Well to me, to put it simply, the Holy Spirit fully resides in the Body of Christ, as when Christ walked this earth the SpIrit was on him in BODILY SHAPE/FORM Not so... if the Holy Spirit resided in jesus... there would have been NO NEED for the Holy Spirit to descend upon Jesus at he time of his baptism... God spoke this to John.. It is the one whom the spirit decents like a dove.

That is how Christ and the Father are one
For Christ prayed to the Father
That they(the believers) may be one AS we are one(John17:22) Believers are one as Jesus Is one with the father BY abiding in Chirst.

And the only way we can be as one is in the Holy Spirit, no other way, but we still remain two individual people False... we are as one body by belief, one with chist by abiding and and one with God by agreement with the indwelling holy spirit. You are alluding the Holy Spirit has preeminence and that is not so.

That they may be one AS we are one
So maybe you need to revisit that?... creator, word and spirit is God the Father, Jesus son, Holy Spirit three person one god head.
