It rarely ever snows here. The last 'real' snowfall here was in '84.

Yup I'm originally from Phoenix, AZ a desert, a very beautiful desert that is always warm and only gets cold in the winter w/o snow. I moved here to Clovis, NM and we had a big snow storm on monday it was so cool and I layed down in my first snow it was nice :D I want more snow but I'm pretty sure its over now :(

Astrid what will your mom send more of? to whom? :O

Lets talk about bugs, the bugs are gone in the winter where did they go?! I hope they stay gone... too many spiders here in the summer give me the jibblies... :(

Speaking of bugs...

Last summer when I was in South Dakota, I found this little guy in my office. He was so cool looking, like he had tribal markings, so I let him live (took him back outside) but otherwise I don't like bugs much. Mosquitos love me for some reason, which is another reason I don't like summer. I like butterflies though. :)

It looks like a beetle of some sort. I found a light green beetle like insect in my house once. It was really pretty and when I killed it, I looked at its blood. It was iridescent.

Preying mantises and stick insects are pretty awesome but I hate mosquitoes. They love me like a brother. They love me like no other. :(

Rachelsedge: That looks like some kind of stinkbug to me. But I really have no idea.

Where I live, we get caterpillars aka canker-worms BAD some years. They eat the leafs on trees and then hang from the branches by their webbing. Its always enjoyable when you find yourself on a sidewalk realizing that you are surrounded and may get a caterpillar in your hair :mad:images.jpg

~Causes a disturbance~
Disturbed? DISTURBED !!! You wanna see disturbed, this is disturbed !!!!! :
WAIT!!!

WHAT's THAT SEE, it's crawling, crawly, ARGGGGGGHHHHHHhhhhhhhh !!!! It's crawling on ME!!! What's this, BUGS!!! Ahhh, they are attacking ME!!!! THEY ARE IN MY EARS!!!! THEY ARE IN MY 000h no EVERYWHERE, my Why is this, why, I can't get them, can't get YOU outta my mind (sung to Resurrection Band song),and, wow, all these BUGS , in my house, gottta make it, gotta make it, they are after me, I know they are , this place is infested , must GET TO MY SAFE PLACE, MUST--------

Anyone seen that movie about the couple that becomes paranoid, think the guy's the ringleader and they lady follows in their mini-cultistic way of thinking, that the government is out to get them( well, that is not so far - fetched :D ) oK, no, but, seriously, wow, that movie with this 'bugs' paranoia is trippy cinema, like falling over 10 banana peels walking, falling, slipping, getting up, walking, falling, slipping.....

OK, I'm done, with my little disturbance OH< also, there is a older version too, of 'Bugs,' all I can remember is the show starts out (I was 10 when I saw it and never saw it again) with showing this person on the phone and then she gets off the phone, if I remember right, and, this bug on her ear is electric and gets inside her ear and frys her Weird, buggy stuff . Really did bug me, I only watched that opening scene and it was pretty scary to this little feller back then and yeah, that's enough 'bugging' for now, I guess. But, oh, tintin, yes, prayingmantis, I bet you got them bugs all over there, down under stuff :D

Well today is thursday and it terrific and I'm just fanfreakintastic! I moved my car so my daughter could jump rope in the drive way and it was really just a sweet moment. I plan to move to california and then panama by the end of this year.God has been amazing, I had a boyfriend pass in Oct but God just comforted me and I appreciate not going into distress. I would love for him to soften my step dads heart. Edification we have to stop submitting to the world and submit to God. I like the song worn by tenth ave north and why was 6 mad at 7???? I really just want it to be jesus that courts my heart. So to stay focused is a prayer, like a race horse with blinders on!!

Dear diary,

today I woke up knowing I would be tired. I couldn't go back to sleep due to all the sunlight. Even if I had tried to cover the window, the fact that it was 7 in the morning would be enough to keep me up. So, I did what I normally do in the mornings; I got up, went toward the coffee maker and brewed a cup. It was cold in the house. But that is to be expected when you live in Canada. The cats, with their natural observation skills, watched as I greeted each one of them. First I rubbed and lightly scratched Dahlia's head messing up her fur. Then I moved on to her 26 week old daughters, Slim and Fuzz. And THEN I moved on to her 10 week old monsters; Animoot, Jackie, Mario, and Franny. We're still looking for homes for them. But they're slowly growing and losing their "cute" factor...
