I've been holding on to my faith that God is with me and everything will be worked out for good. I still believe that deep down, but after so many years of waiting for a prayer to be answered I'm just tired. We are dealing with some immigration problems and at this point I feel numb. It's so hard to move forward, make plans for a future when you don't know if your spouse will be around. I know this year will be when we finally know what is going to happen with his status. I pray for a miracle in that he wont have to leave. Honestly I am scared. I try not to be and put up a good front, but I feel like I'm breaking. I talk myself back to having faith in God and that a miracle will happen, but doubt is always there and I can't help but think of the "what ifs". I ask that you pray for my situation and that things work out in our favor.

Doubting could be what causes the prayer to be unanswered. We are not to doubt God- James 1:5-8"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does."

Keep on praying and be strong!

THE SPIRIT IS WILLING BUT THE FLESH IS WEAK. GET INTO THE PROMISES OF THE LORD AND KEEP SAYING THEM TILL THE SPIRIT IS CONNECTED IN FAITH. JESUS HELP HER.

Thank you both. Yes I do have faith but have times when I'm not as strong as others. Last night being one, really could not sleep much. So many thoughts coming against me. I do recognize that I have to have faith. I have to keep reminding myself that God is working and everything will be ok.

Again, please pray for my family and situation.

Thanks again!

JESUS GIVE SWEET SLEEP FOR HER, AND LET HER REST, AND PEACE OF MINE. AMEN GOD BLESS YOU.

I pray he can stay as we have 15 million others who are here that should not be. But each person is God's mnasterpiece and each one of great value to Him and me. Surely of government could work something out for all of these people. I am not in favor of people free loading but people working and trying to live a righteous life should be helped.

I will be praying for you. Cast your cares to the Lord. Let go of the what ifs and start to know that God can do anything. Keep you mind and heart in God.God is working things out for you, even if you don't feel it Have faith and be thankful. Where faith and hope grows, miracles blossom.
I hope this helps

With much love,
Keenen

I agree with Keenen. Give your burdens to God, any way you can. Talk to Him about what's bothering you, even though He already knows. And praise Him for who He is, no matter what happens.

"Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

I'm praying for you and your husband, too. :)

Praying for you and all you ask in Jesus Christ is Lord.

Just keep praising God in all cirrcomstances, for praise is the evidence of faith and trust.

God bless :)

Nothing wrong with fearing the Lord, His awe is great, His power is mighty, He alone is to be feared.

"Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (knowing God's plans, accepting His ways, seeing, as He leads, with love, grace, mercy, His best for you, which will be perfect :)

I am praying now for your situation, don't worry, God has this :) Pray, pray, pray, and, like poster abive wiseky said of James, verses, do not doubt Him, for all things are possible with God. '...you follow Me.' :) John 21:22 . Talk to your husband, too, both be praying, mightily, for His mighty will to be done, "Thy will be done," want it, just like Jesus accepted before being tortured and pained on a tree to excerucuating links.
He will get you through, "Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you."
:)

Well, you know, I believe that there are at least some 15-20 million others here just like him and nothings' happening to them?!!

Cast your cares and your fears on the Lord and just have faith, genuine faith, that He will work this all out for you. Always remember "what seems impossible to man, IS possible with God".

I will be mailing out the new application this week. We have to start over since it's been so long since we first applied. Hopefully they will take into consideration the fact that we first applied almost 10 years ago and that we have been paying taxes etc... this whole time, not on ANY assistance programs and have no criminal history. Once I put that in the mail I think I'll feel some relief. Thank you all for the encouragement and prayers. I probably should keep this thread going with updates on this situation. I know I get worked up sometimes and then depression hits. But CC has been a blessing in that I can just write and put my thoughts out there instead of keeping things locked up inside.

God Bless, and thank you all.

I lift you & your husband & situation up to the Lord in prayer asking that his will be done and that He makes a way for your husband to stay in the United States with you I ask on Jesus name amen. So if they kick him out will you go back with Him to Mexico? I heard something about Obama giving the illegal mexicans rights that are already here so there is hope.

No I would not leave. That has already been established. I have kids and a job and other family. It would just not work. I do hope for the law to change soon at least to allow for people who are here, to stay while in process. It used to be that there were penalties such as fines but it was allowed. We will pay what ever it takes, just need to keep the family together. Thank you for your prayers.

Ran into the first wall before mailing out the application..LOL.. Have to laugh. Apparently now, I need to send off a lot more documentation than in previous years. So the app will not be sent this week, but hopefully next week if I can get all the certified copies of documents needed. No worries... still praying and still moving forward!

Feeling really angry right now. I feel like I'm the only one trying to move this process along. I mean, if I were the one in his situation I would be running to the courthouse to get all the paperwork I needed to get this application in the mail. Am I wrong? I swear, sometimes I think he either has given up or just doesn't care anymore. Or maybe he wants to leave. AHHH I'm just rambling here. Its just so frustrating!

Leave yoir hands open for god to bring I
