I don't hate anyone. I love all you guy's and gal's. Sometimes these argue post get to me and I'm human. I apologize and ask your forgiveness. But, it angers me when folks don't understand the end times because that is where we are. I mean in Holy anger ( anger and sin not) because I'm jealous for souls. The Prophet Zephaniah speaks of the Day of the Lord and a time of trouble, but says nothing of the Lord taking you to heaven to avoid it.

Christ says in the very next verse, don't be harvested in the winter. meaning before the true end of the world, Harvest is always in the summer. Another part of the doctrine of the rapture is The Lord comes as a thief in the night. When The Lord comes there is no way the average person will not notice. Certain things will happen on the heavens and on the earth before the coming if the Lord

We will see things happen to the sun and moon before The Lord comes

the saints are Jesus servants and when he comes and setup his kingdom we will fight. Not go to heaven and fly around doing whatever.

Then we all come back to earth

This is one of the places in the Bible people use to support the teaching of a Rapture.

If such an event is to take place, why doesn't the word Rapture appear in the Bible?

People have accepted this myth for a very long time.
Also, the religious teachers have perpetuated this myth for just as long.

Why do I refer to the Rapture as being a myth?

I wonder where the Rapture teaching came from?

This verse isn't talking about the physical sense; The title " Son of Man" given to Jesus Christ, refers to his humanity. The verse before says " At the coming of the Son of Man," meaning Christ coming in his humanity, not his spiritual form as it is commonly believed.

Spiritual meaning is that two people will seem just alike; but only one will be found right with God and be chosen by him to be " taken," as in receiving eternal life. Not a physical sense as in they will just disappear and be raptured.

It's a parable ( Jesus always talked in parables,) that reveal how only God will know his true people, even though both women and men in this case, physically appear to be the same.

There is only one instance in which the Bible talks about a physical change; that is being taken up into Heaven and body changed to the spirit in a flash; this takes place after the destruction of the Earth though, not before.

The second resurrection is after the 1000 years the second death after we have ruled and reign with Christ.

The first resurrection is what some Christians call the rapture which is 29Immediately after the tribulation.

We are not on the earth we are in the heavens at the last trumpet, so the wrath can be poured out the vials, the seven last plagues.

There is no word rapture but there is gatherings were we put of corruptible and put on immortality.

And some Christians call it the rapture.

1 Corinthians 15: 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Then we return with Christ After getting the victory over the beast, after meeting him in the air, after Standing on the sea of glass, after the marriage supper of the lamb.

2ND heaven - "in the sky" - "above the earth" - YES - whether 10 miles or 100 miles or ...
3RD heaven - NO

The two witnesses - that may be different - happens BEFORE the rapture.
