The Mary that the Catholic church worships is in actuality the queen of heaven -or ashterah, which is a pagan goddess of the babylonians, mary was never meant to be worshipped, she was never meant to take the place of Jesus. She did not ascend into heaven, she is NOT a mediator for anyone. Jesus is our mediator, He alone intercedes for us, to preach any other gospel other than the gospel in the Holy Bible is heresy. The world loves it's own! Mary was just a vessel, nothing more, nothing less, had she been more the old testament would have said something more of her oother than the virgin birth of our saviour, but there wasn't, and the myths about mary didn't even start until after the 1400's propaganda created by men

One more thing, PS and big boy rambo lol, lets just say that the Catholic Church was the anti-christ. Do you really think that attacking Her by angering her members is the way to save or convert them? Do you REALLY think that talking with such spite and bitterness is the way Christ wanted you to do things? Whose the "real christian"? Think about it fellas.
And Carey, you're right! The gospel in the Holy Bible IS the only gospel that should be preached, and IS the only gospel preached by the Catholic Church. But there's alot to our faith that comes ALSO from tradition and "private revelations". So many of you think its all black and white lol. A Bible-only approach, when applied logically, runs into immediate problems. For example, can a Bible held in the hand of any Christian answer the following questions:
"How do I know that my Bible was correctly translated?"
"Does my bible have the correct number of books in both the old and new Testaments?"
"Is the interpretation of this or that verse the correct one?"
This is just the beginning of the dramas you face if you go on the Bible alone, Carey. I'm not saying by any means that the Holy Bible isn't important. But It can't be the sole rule of faith. Doesn't make sense. For goodness' sake, how many translations of it are there now?

your joking and this is a joke. cant even believe you would say stuff like that. the worst by far translation came from the catholic church and they directly changed things to suit them and hide the truth for the public. Ill always say the truth I dont care if the jesuits want to come and put a bullet in me so be it i will spread truth untill i die because my love for God far exceeds the love of this world. That is faith you are part of a babylonian religeon thats the difference between us. My goodness! As I've said before, there are some parts of the Catholic Church I don't understand and/or agree with BUT there's no need for this venemous hate from some of you! It's disgusting. We're meant to speak God's Truth with Love, not bully Catholics. Tough love is different to kicking them to the kerb. Please think about it.

1. By researching the original text and learning the greek/hebrew meanings OR getting some good study bibles
2. If you believe the first sentence in the bible you should have no problem deducting that the creator would not leave misleading guides for us to live our life by. And if that doesnt satisfy you research all 600 original texts on top of the bible.
3. answered that in the first answer learn the true meanings. Get yourself the Chuck Missler commentaries.
I know you have the same doubts i did. I had worse doubts but the closer you get to God the further away the doubt goes

I'm sorry my dear but I can only go by what the Bible says, "do not add or take away from this book " now you may say this was only speaking about revelation, but I believe that was pertaining to the entire Bible. I believe the Catholic church is false because not only has it added and taken away from the Bible but they also go completely against what God has told us not to do. Do not make for yourself any graven images, not only do they make them but they bow down and worship them, they pray to dead saints, pray to angel's, the traditions that they participate in come from pagan rituals, salvation is based on what you do rather than the work of the cross, they call the priests father when Jesus says to call no man father, they got their start in bloodshed, killing millions of true Christians when they refused to bow down to their law's, the massacre of St Bartholomew is a prime instance, have we forgotten the Inquisition? The list goes on...please get out of her my friend, I pray that God will open your eye's to the truth of the vaticans deceit

Tintin if seven7seven goes to hell (which i fear may happen) than i would feel extremley bloody guilty if i had the chance to tell him the truth and didnt take it. His heart is in the right place and hes asking the right questions so maybe this is his chance to escape the catholic church system and truly be one with our heavenly father. Either way rejoyce in the truth.
May he seek the Truth that will set him free.

St.Peter himself warned that the "ignorant and unstable" would "twist" the Scriptures "to their own destruction" (2Peter. 3:16). One fruit of private interpretation of the Bible has been the spawning of over 35,000 different Protestant denominations all claiming to be "Bible-believing", yet agreeing on little more than their anti-Catholic tenets. A person who builds his faith on private interpretation is akin to the fool in St. Matthew 7:24-27 who built his house on the grains of sand. As grains of sand tend to shift to the downfall of the house, so too do individual minds continually change the interpretation of Scripture to the downfall of faith. On the contrary, the wise man built his house on rock(kepha); likewise does the faithful Catholic build his faith on St. Peter (Kepha) and his successors!

Carey, I have argued these EXACT same points in earlier forums. Please read the Catholic Church's position on all these. And PLEASE! INQUISITION? Do you not know about the Protestants killing Catholics in England for not following their way? Come on Carey, there's evil in EVERY Church. Including the Catholic. But Her teachings are sound if you allign them all together. Believe me! I really wouldn't be here otherwise. When I was saved last year, I almost converted to SDA, until I researched all the Catholic Churches positions on all the SDA's accusations about Her. Have there been evil people in the Catholic Church? OF COURSE! AND THERE STILL IS!! But the Church as a whole is NOT evil. It is so beautiful! You can really see Christ's work being done in the Catholic Church. Do you know how many missionaries She has? Do you have ANY IDEA how much good She does in this world? Or will you all just keep concentrating on Her human flaws? If so, then you must see the same in the other Churches too, because they are ALL GUILTY!!
