by the Guidance of the Holg Ghost installed in you on the first day of belief
Ephesians 1:13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
I'm hearing you brother! And I agree. But what if the Holy Spirit chooses to guide my little brother through his peers or pastors or priests? What if the Holy Spirit Chooses to guide him through doctrine as well as Scripture? Who are we to assume how the Holy Spirit will decide to guide us? It's not as simple as just being guided by the Holy Spirit. Our faith is not a simple thing to understand, which is why we need try to understand how and when the Holy Spirit is speaking to us! Which could be a daunting thing for a 32 yr old (like myself), let alone a 16 yr old. We can think its all black and white as much as we like and kid ourselves, but its not.

No biblical backng on this immaculate conjecture that she was sinless or never got angry and never sinned, this could be, God can do anythiong God wants, but God is not a liar. but it is conjecture. God considered her righteous by Faith, just as God considered all other Saints righteous by them having Faith in him and then they did what he said he wanted and that is the seal Hebrews 11, and regardless yes Jesus was born from Mary as a Virgin that is imaculate, Her himon had never been broken that is what is immaculate, not whether she ever sinned or not. And Mary's Job done after raising Jesus.
Jesus Christ has been placed above all POWERS and PRINCIPALITIES chapter 2 of Collosians.
Anyway I see no where in Scripture that Mary is involved after the virgin birth and the raising of Christ. Be careful that we put noone before Christ for it is by Christ that we have access to God the Father period praying to Mary is out of line, for Christ said it clearly that he is the way the truth and the life. If we pray to Mary why not John the Baptist he baptized Jesus, and afterward said his Job was over that he must decrease and Jesus must increase. Or wait a minute why not Paul lets be of Paul, or Appollos, read 1 Corinthians, I am just saying we all need truth the truth that sets us free that is what God came to earth to do was and is to set us free first by the death of Christ for the believer to be free from the Law that Christ filled and prooved that he was and is the redeemer. After we see his death and believe we get freed by this death from the Law believing in Jesus, then after that because we see that we are freed from the Law, and thus by that we are dead to the Law. Then God raises us back to a new life with a new Spirit the Holy Spirit in us to guide us into all truth inside of us working his way out through usutting God's light on our lamp stand for all to see, this is immaculate born again and did not physically die or go back into moms womb and be born again. No born again of God by the Spirit of God, through first being freed from the Law at the death of Christ by Christs last sacriffice and only sacrifice, along with the last shedding of blood. Tell me where is Mary involved here or any other Saint considered Righteous by Faith
Love you
John 19:26-27

26 When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, he said to his mother, “Woman, here is your son.”[SUP]27 [/SUP]Then he said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home.

I wonder if we're supposed to do what His desciple (who "He loved so much" ) did, and take His mother into our own homes. "honor your mother and father." So if He called Mary His disciple's mother, then she is obviously our mother too, being his disciples and all. When I have a problem at home, I speak to my mother AND father. Not saying Mary is equal to God, by any means. But surely we're allowed to talk to our mother!!!

Not someone who is dead. No.

Human and dead, until the resurrection that is.
You obviously go on scripture alone. Where does it say that Mary Ever-Virgin, Mother of God is dead? Then I will give you the reason for the Truth, brother.

Mary had other children after Jesus, he had brothers. Yes I do go by scripture alone and don't push me or I will tell everyone about the benefit of the clergy, the power of the keys and other such things, and don't go telling me the sacraments are the actual body and blood of Jesus either. I'm all for unity but not heresy.

Are you talking about when Jesus spoke of His "brothers"? Heresy? lol Study the Catholic Catechism before you go throwing that word around like its nothing. I didn't push you, brother. But you sound like one of those kind of blokes who likes talking tough. Get back under your rock and watch the truth come about right before your eyes. God bless you. And please, don't let me stop you talking about "the benefit of the clergy, the power of the keys and other such things". All you Catholic haters like doing is making up rubbish about us. Nothing new bud. Go for it champ. I'm waiting.

BTW you didn't answer my question.

When you are attacked and called a heretic, just remmebr what Jesus said when carrying his cross

If they do such things as this to me the living tree, what will they do to you?'(Living bible translation)

He was referring to the people responsible for him being cruicified, religious people, not the non religious.

Until you do that, PS, I'm going to celebrate the next successor of St. Peter's Chair. You know, the new Pope Francis I, who gave up his palace to live in the midst of poverty, rides on the bus for transport and cooks his own food? You know the one I'm talking about! Or are you going to make up something about this one too, saying he's the anti-Christ, even though he is SO EVIDENTLY humble and lives his life doing Christ's will? Wake up to yourselves! I'll pray a decade of the Holy Rosary for you too.

Mark, you're not helping at all. Rather than encourage a different doctrine, you should be encouraging a person to look to scripture instead.

A number of differing religions use that same line, that they are being persecuted, as if it proves they have truth. John the Baptist called the pharisees a "brood of vipers," so are you going to suggest that the pharisees were being persecuted by John because they had truth?

For some reason you completely misunderstand.

Anyone that loves truth will be against false doctrines that are not biblical, because they lead many astray and they mock God. Some always assume that if their doctrine is being attacked, that they are also personally being attacked. This is not true. It's a difference between truth and lies, exposing that which isn't scriptural. The person is not under attack, but the teachings are, if they do not line up with scripture. This is not just for the poster in question, but also because it could potentially pollute the minds of others that come here searching for truth.

To my mind this below is heresy. Mary is not our Salvation or our Life they both come from God.

She...is our Salvation, our Life, our Hope, our Counsel, our Refuge, our Help” (The Glories of Mary by Bishop Alphonse de Ligouri (Brooklyn: Redemptorist Fathers, pp. 254, 257).

We are warned about praying to the dead, but Catholics do it. That says a lot about Catholicism.

Deu 18:9 "When you come into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD. And because of these abominations the LORD your God is driving them out before you.

Yet Catholics do the very things we are told not to do.

haha here we go again putting words in the mouths of Catholics. PS, WE DO NOT SAY THAT MARY IS OUR SALVATION! I wish you guys would have a look at the Church's Catechism before you say these things. Muslims pray to Mohommed the prophet, who is dead and buried. Fortune tellers talk to the dead. You don't know that Mary is dead. Why are you attacking the Catholic Church when ALL THESE OTHER RELIGIONS DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT QUITE OBVIOUSLY FOR YOU TO SEE!!! You haven't got the foggiest clue what the Catholic Church teaches. Like I've said so many times on this site before, you all go off what some "preacher" teaches you WITHOUT RESEARCHING THE CHURCH'S POSITION ON THE SUBJECT!AGAIN I TELL YOU, WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER ! STOP ATTACKING THE CHURCH WITHOUT KNOWING SQUAT ABOUT HER!!

Concentrate on your own redemption and stop judging me and my brothers and sisters! You talk like you know it all. lol Wake up. And God bless you while your minding your own business.

Have you had a look into the history of the Protestant Churches too have you, buddy? Or is this a one sided story? And have you looked at all the good things the Church has done in this world too? Or will that cramp your style of rubbishing Her? Get real!

Precisely, you even admit Catholicism is no different to fortune tellers and others.

Your own words condemn the Catholic church.
