You already have been. reread col 1:13. Weak? yes we all are. But thats because we still retain our flesh and old nature.
And unless we fully deny ourselves and live by His grace we will stumble. In that the devil cant cause that. Only if we let him. He is allowed by God to carry out some testings and sometimes chatisement. But we are to merely resist and humble ourselves to the Lord in that case. But you knew that. We are the problem, not the devil.

Sure see James doesnt blame the devil for our sin. Hes present, but cant do a thing

So the amil position would say that the word "nations" is a biblical reference to the Gentiles.
And that the meaning is that the devil has not "full power" to keep the gospel from moving.
Or to keep the nations(gentiles) from believing. Notice how rev 20 says exactly what it says. If it meant that the devil was bound...meaning totally not here. Why the qualifier? To not deceive the nations? that would be a duh! to say if it meant just not here.
Mt 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Who set the temptation in front of Eve? Could she have ignored him? Yes. Did she allow the temptation to consume her to full blown lust? Yes. Temptation set before us is just that temptation. . . it only results in sin when we allow it to consume us to the point of lust and then we follow through. . . .and we aren't tempted by God.

Right! satan was involved but eve did it on her own at the same time.
She said....hmmmm pleasant to the eyes(lust of the eyes)
She said...good for food(lust of the flesh)
She said....to make one wise(lust of the pride of life)
So its clear she did as James says. I dont need satan or a demon to sin, ever.
I can do that just fine all on my own. And if he tempts me....he can only draw out of me

Jesus Christ is in heaven preparing his kingdom,(I go to prepare a place for you) and when everything is under his feet and the last enemy to be destroyed, death. Who has the power of death? The devil (Hebrews 2:14) Then his kingdom will come to earth and he will reign as KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. A King reigns over his kingdom and it's not here yet.
Jesus Christ is my Messiah, he is my Lord and I try to live my life pleasing to him.

OK but not exactly the devil has been totally conquered. But has a purpose still.
His kingdom started when He sat on Davids eternal throne. Peter preached that on Pentecost
Acts 2. And Look:
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” ( Revelations 1:18 )
Now your right in quoting from 1 Cor 15. Death and sin still exists till His return. Right?
But read again...He doest come to earth to set up a kingdom...it says He takes it(the present kingdom) up to the Father.
So........with no more death....and no more enemies. Rev20 cant be talking future because
in it you see both death and enemies. right?
Also death was not the devils deal...it was Gods judgement on sin.
