HOW CAN I DELETE A THREAD??

I would like to delete a thread a made earlier...is this possible?
Surely it must be, I wouldn't have bothered posting it if I didn't think you could not delete it!

Please could someone take it down....

send a message to the mods and ask them really nice and see if they will delete it for you.

however you do know anything you post is archived already in google, right?

don't count on deleting anything you post online as a general rule.

Oh, this is WHY I want it to deleted! So that it wouldn't come up on google search results...surely if the thread is deleted then it shouldn't come up?

It'll still come up in the cached search results. You should never put anything on the Internet if you don't want it viewable to everybody.
 
For the record, we DO NOT delete posts or threads unless they violate site rules, even then they are not deleted, just removed from public view. Officially all posts become the property of Christian Chat once the user editing time has expired. In extremely rare circumstances we will edit posts at a users request when personal info such as phone numbers and personal e-mails are posted.

Our advice to users is to think, rethink and think again prior to making a post or creating a thread as it will be on the internet forever.
