Makeup is yucky. I like women with no makeup. However, if it helps you 'feel' confident about your looks, it may help you putting on some make up. However, this is simply a matter of preference for me. I don't think I have any say on whether women should or shouldn't wear any makeup. We're all beautifully carved out by God's hand :)

In your case, I think you may actually look much more beautiful without makeup :)

I don't know a lot about make-up. But it seems to be like a drug. Once you start using it, you gradually start using more. Then, I think some of it has a damaging effect on the skin. And you have to use more to cover the damage. Before you know it, you're in this vicious cycle. I think it might be easier to manage if one sticks to a bit of blush, some lipstick and perhaps a bit of eye shadow. But once the foundation starts getting caked on, that's all she wrote. :)

Make-up is fun! I love to buy it and play around. Here's the thing though, I know how to apply make-up. I have theatre experience, so I've learned how to enhance and all that jazz. However, a lot of women do not know what they're doing, and end up looking like clowns.

Arwen, I had an Aimee fact about the dark circles under your eyes, what it is and how to get rid of them. But my mind is fuzzy. Maybe I'll remember soon.

I never wear the stuff. I used to experiment with make-up when I was a little girl, just for the fun of it, but as an adult I can say I feel it's more of a tedious burden and I don't bother.

My skin has lots of imperfections. I have freckles, and a pink birthmark on my cheek (it looks like a pink number seven lol). But you know what? My boyfriend likes the way I look without makeup. He's told me multiple times he is glad that I don't wear any makeup. :) He likes my natural beauty. And yes, he even likes my seven,
and he said it would take him some getting used to if I hid it. :p

I don't like makeup at all but I will tolerate anything but blue eye shadow and lipstick. Those 2 are guaranteed DonkeyFish repellent

Well, to each her own. But if you're looking for a male's perspective, my boyfriend says all the time that he hates when girls cake on makeup because it's like they're wearing a mask. To him, it just screams fake. He says "If guys don't wear makeup, why do girls need it?"

..then again, he's from Asia. Over there, pop culture says it's cool for guys to wear makeup, too. *facepalm* Boy am I glad he does not follow that trend.

On my face, I wear moisturizer and sunscreen. :) For special occasions, I wear minimalistic makeup to slightly enhance my features. I don't think makeup is evil. I just don't think it's necessary.

I do not mind whether a girl wears make up or not. I think it can look nice with or without it. It is not all about how ones face looks. If you want to wear it, go ahead, at the end of the day being yourself is the most important thing. I think eyeliner is also very attractive. Overdone makeup can look crappy though lol. If a lot if going to be used, just make sure you know how to use it. xD

Honestly, I think a little makeup might be good, but so many women these days seem to overdo it. It takes them a good hour to put it all on and they end up looking all artificial. It honestly doesn't matter to me either way, largely.

As I'd say with many other things, in moderation. You don't need to do it to the extent that it's the only thing that makes you think you look pretty. That's outrageous. It doesn't need to be something that becomes a daily ritual that consumes tons of time. Even I struggle with accepting the body that God gave me to use while on this earth, as I often think that I'm ugly. I just have to realize that this is the body that was given to me and I have to do the best I can with it. It's the body that I'll have on New Earth too, I believe, but a perfected form. I'm guessing it'd probably fuller and no so skinny and the best bit of all - no pain!

I kinda got sidetracked there, but I hope that answers your question from my perspective.

you're not ugly by the way! yeah! we were created in the image of God remember? :))

lol, I actually almost included "It makes me think of Mi Mi off of drew carey" in my original post :P.

Lol I couldn't resist. I am not a big fan of blue eyeshadow like Mimi did but I like teal. Any color of makeup done in the right way I think is ok. I once did a pale colored rainbow eyeshadow and got the most compliments that day on my makeup than I ever had before. It was a paler pastel palate.
