Yes it is a vicious cycle alright. US kill 500,000 iraqi children with medical sanctions. Some hot heads get upset and take revenge.

Madeleine Albright Defends Mass-Murder of iraqi Children (500,000 Children dead) - YouTube

US use depleted uranium in Iraq resulting in high rate of cancer and deformities in children. More hotheads are created.

The US send drones and kill more children. Even more hot heads are created.
Slow you're roll. I ain't the blind-folded-patriot type. American foreign policy over past few decades is quite problematic.

That being said, hatred for the people of God is inherent to Islam. Jews hate Christians, as they believe we are idolaters for worshipping Jesus who they believe to be a mere man.

what prophetic voice?
it was a personal preference stated.

i'm tired of the propaganda we see on our MSM. sick of it really.

it's not so much how the Christian is treated - it's the national mindset and worldview i'm referring to.

Christians are a protected minority (with varying degrees of protection to be sure), able to hold public office, attend university, live normal lives, and some of their communities date all the way back to Acts 2.

obviously they don't live with the same "freedom" and "democracy" either the U.S, or Israel has...but frankly i don't need strip clubs, gambling, hollywood, 1000 channels of sales junk and sex, or the Housewives of Orange County.

i would have no problem wearing hijab and respecting local customs. behaving as a decent and productive member of society. i have no need for political activism. with those concerns addresses, basic evangelism and missionary work is existent.

i honestly don't know enough about Iran, but i certainly know enough about Israel to make a choice - if i had to.
my best friend ( a jew) lived in Israel..he said he'd never go back...for the reasons mentioned (and more - he's a jew who converted to Christianity).

Before the revolution, Jews were well-represented among Iran's business elite, holding key posts in the oil industry, banking and law, as well as in the traditional bazaar. The wave of anti-Israeli sentiment that swept Iran during the revolution, as well as large-scale confiscations of private wealth, sent thousands of the more affluent Jews fleeing to the United States or Israel. Those remaining lived in fear of pogroms, or massacres.

But Khomeini met with the Jewish community upon his return from exile in Paris and issued a ''fatwa'' decreeing that the Jews were to be protected. Similar edicts also protect Iran's tiny Christian minority.

that "revolution" was the CIAs doing, btw.
meddling in Iran's internal affairs and not liking the outcome...what else is new?
I know about our meddling in Iran. My great-uncle served in Army Intelligence in Vietnam and was in Iran.

Muslims see all their children being murdered around them so you think they might be thinking that Christians don't like them ? The cycle needs to be broken. It is not going to be broken while people lay the blame on others and ignore the attrocities of the people that represent them perform.

Iran hasn't attacked another nation in 250 years.
In the 1980's. The American embassy was overrun by radicals in Iran with the consent of the Iranian government and it's personnel held for over a year. As it was a U.S. embassy the building and embassy grounds are considered by international law American soil. Therefore, the 1980 hostage taking was a direct attack by IRAN on American soil and American interests.

This statement got me thinking about the US bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade and the pinpoint accuracy of the attack was in fact a deadly signal to Milosevic: seek outside help in Kosovo at your peril.

The US and Britain contend that the embassy bombing was the result of intelligence sources having used an old and unreliable map. The Observersystematically demolishes this claim. It cites the response the following day of an American colonel to criticisms by British, French and Canadian personnel of the supposed mistake. “Bullshit,” said the colonel. “That was great targeting ... we put two JDAMs down into the attaché's office and took out the exact room we wanted ... they [the Chinese] won't be using that place for rebro [re-broadcasting Yugoslav radio transmissions] any more, and it will have given that bastard Arkan a headache.”

i'd rather live in Iran than Israel.
Tabari I:280 Because Allah afflicted Eve, all of the women of the world menstruate and are stupid.
Sura 2:223 your wives are as tilth (farmland) unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will...
Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." "People of the Book" refers to Christians and Jews. According to this verse, they are to be violently subjugated, with the sole justification being their religious status. This was one of the final "revelations" from Allah and it set in motion the tenacious military expansion, in which Muhammad's companions managed to conquer two-thirds of the Christian world in the next 100 years. Islam is intended to dominate all other people and faiths.
Quran (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

Free will gives us all the right to make our own choices. If you choose to live in an Islamic controlled country that has a track record of persecuting and imprisoning Christians I guess that’s your choice. But if I were you I’d rethink that position, it appears that living in Israel where your rights to freedom, liberty, and self-determination is protected by the democracy of the Israeli Jewish state, would be a superior choice. After all getting yourself killed or imprisoned probably would not accomplish much in the promotion of the gospel, doing the Lord’s work, but by staying alive and entering into discussion with nonbelievers like muslims in Iran (or any nonbeliever anywhere) online or any nonviolent method available we have a chance to share the gospel and be witnesses to these poor lost souls.

I think the key statement here is

Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

If you are not free to practice your religion then until you subdue them from oppression and they are paying tax like everyone else, you fight them.

You can't judge a religion by some of its radical members. I feel Christianity cannot be judged by the Spanish Inquisition.

Concerning the 500 killed in Nigeria, the media is very quiet about the Muslims persecuted there. Same have been killed and eaten by Christian cannibals.

When people say that media is Jewish controlled, people just think you are being anti Semitic. Media control has been proudly admitted in the Times of Israel. That is why you get one sided reporting in Nigeria. The media do not want portray Muslims as victims. With that much power no wonder they have the US government in their pocket.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, here, fellow Jews. We do control the media. We’ve got so many dudes up in the executive offices in all the big movie production companies it’s almost obscene. Just about every movie or TV show, whether it be “Tropic Thunder” or “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” is rife with actors, directors, and writers who are Jewish. Did you know that all eight major film studios are run by Jews?

This Tense Video Shows Why Israel Now Has 'Arab Only' Buses

Over the weekend Israel's Transportation Ministry introduced two bus lines for Palestinian passengers traveling between the West Bank and central Israel, sparking claims of segregation.

The move came amid complaints from Israeli settlers of the occupied territories, many of whom regard Palestinian passengers as an inconvenience or a security risk.

Israel enacts law allowing authorities to detain illegal migrants for up to 3 years
Until now, migrants caught by IDF have been transferred to the Saharonim detention facility in the south; Interior Minister says migrants do not recognize that Israel 'belongs to the white man.'

"Instead of acting like all civilized countries and verifying requests for asylum and granting refugee status to those who are eligible, which Israel is obligated to do under the UN convention, the state sees mass imprisonment of thousands of people, women and children, whose only offense was seeking escape from murderous regimes, as a solution to the problem. This solution will not solve a thing as it is neither humane nor effective.

Meanwhile on Sunday, Israeli daily Maariv published an interview with Interior Minister Eli Yishai, in which he stated that most of the "Muslims that arrive here do not even believe that this country belongs to us, to the white man."

Operation Cast Lead: It’s “Zionese” for Burning People
Chuck Carlson introduces a new word to describe the unofficial spoken language of the State of Israel. Israel has used "Zionese" to defend its actions in Gaza in Dec., 2008. "Zionese" is the art of telling a story that most will reject but, by repeating it so often, many will believe it. Recently, Bob Simon of CBS 60 Minutes challenged "Zionese" in a most remarkable story, "Christians of the Holy Land." Mr. Simon interviewed Michael Oren, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, who did not want the segment aired and demonstrated what 'Zionese"is all about.

WAR CRIMES?

not when Israel does it!

due to heretical Dispensational/Dual Covenant "Theology" we are told to stand shoulder to shoulder with "our brothers".
we're never really told WHY murderers and unbelievers who hate Jesus are our brothers in the faith.

Gaza Facts Operation Cast Lead

On December 27, 2008, Israel launched Operation Cast Lead, a massive, 22-day military assault on the Gaza Strip. The ferocity of the attack was unprecedented in the more than six-decade-old conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, killing some 1,400 Palestinians, most of them civilians.

According to Israeli authorities, three Israeli civilians and one soldier were killed by rockets fired from Gaza during Cast Lead. Nine Israeli soldiers also died in combat in Gaza, including four killed by friendly fire.In the aftermath of the offensive, UN-appointed fact finding mission found strong evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by both the Israeli military and Palestinian militias. Investigations by human rights groups such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch came to the same conclusion.

After an investigation of the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza, Human Rights Watch accused the Israeli military of violating the international ban on "wanton destruction" found in the Fourth Geneva Convention.

BACKGROUND

Six months before Cast Lead, Israel negotiated a ceasefire with Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups in Gaza. Under the agreement, which went into effect on June 19, 2008, both sides agreed to stop hostilities across the Green Line, the de facto border between Israel and the Gaza Strip.

Despite a number of violations by both sides, the truce was largely successful.

Hamas negotiators claim that Israel agreed to end its closure of Gaza's border crossings as part of the ceasefire agreement, however Israeli officials dispute this. While Israel did resume operations at one border crossing, the overall policy of closure did not change. Two months after the truce began, the UN reported that the number of goods allowed into Gaza actually decreased.

Nevertheless, overall, a situation of relative quiet prevailed in and around Gaza until November 4, when Israeli soldiers staged a raid into the Strip, killing six members of Hamas. The attack, which took place on the eve of the US presidential elections, ended the ceasefire and led to an escalation of hostilities culminating in Cast Lead the following month.

THE ASSAULT

Cast Lead proceeded in two phases: a week of intense aerial bombing followed by two weeks of a joint air and land assault and invasion. The surprise attack began at 11:30 a.m. on December 27, 2008, with Israeli F-16 fighter jets, Apache helicopters, and unmanned drones striking more than 100 locations across the tiny, crowded Gaza Strip within a matter of minutes.

what is DISGUSTING is that so-called Christians think this is OF GOD - His Beloved One of Two Christian Witnesses in the "Christian Era"....just doing what they do.....RIGHT?

and this is all good, and we are supposed to SUPPORT IT!
of course we are! we're THE OTHER WITNESS!

so-called Christians can't even be bothered to GET THE FACTS.

"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it.”

Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon to Shimon Peres, October 3, 2001, as reported on Kol Yisrael radio. (Certainly the FBI’s cover-up of the Israeli spy ring/phone tap scandal suggests that Mr. Sharon may not have been joking.)

My post addressed the fact that as a Christian it would not be a wise choice to live in Iran over Israel. Both would probably be difficult to live in but I seriously believe of the two Israel is by far the better option. You want to believe differently, so be it.

Yes Israel like Iran, as well as many nations have laws that allows for illegal immigrants to be detained it’s called national security. But those laws should have no bearing on one who moves there unless they move there illegally. Not really interested in the antisemitic/antizionist videos you continue to post Zone. I will readily admit there are plenty of problems in Israel but having said that as a Christian I would still prefer Israel over Iran. Why? Because while Christians may suffer persecution in Israel they are still far safer there then they are in Iran. In this hypotetical situation it’s a matter of choosing the lesser of the two evils. Hypothetically speaking if you as a Christian would prefer to choose Iran over Israel and as a result wound up living in a more evil society where you as a Christian believer would be under the constant threat of imprisonment or death so be it.

I repeat again, you cannot judge a religion by some of its radical members.

You are correct you can not judge a religion by it’s radical mambers. On the other hand we should judge a religion by what it actually teaches. So when a Christian resorts to violence to advance Christianity he is making a radical deparure from what Christianity is all about. On the other hand the muslim who uses violence to promote mohammads satanically inspired religion of islam is not departing from the teachings of islam therefore he is a fundamentalist, not a radical.

Quran (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."
Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."
Quran (4:95) - "Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-"
Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

The above quotes from the quaran should be enough to show that the muslim who resorts to violence for the advancement of islam is only doing what the quaran instructs and is therfore a fundamentalist, not a radical.. While on the other hand the Christian who resorts to violence to advance Christianity is making a radical departure. So you see my friend you are comparing apples to oranges. While the violence is a radical departure from what Scripture instructs for a Christian, violence is the norm for a muslim who does as the quaran instructs

But let's not forget just because they choose to be our enemies we must still love them and share the gospel with them. The internet has proven to be an effective tool for comunicating and sharing the gospel with Muslims in islamic controlled countries.
