Yeah I know!! I was going to make a comment about it with my post but I figured someone else would say it for me.lol
Hey I like romance and happily ever after.. It's funny though for as sappy as I am I don't expect to be showered with
gifts and a ton of romance. Just bring me a flower every once in awhile and I will be yours.( well not YOURS technically) lol
I knew what you meant..don't worry sweetpea I'm not one of those guys who takes you literally. I think my 2 fav semi romantic films might be Notting Hill & Love Actually. Sometimes I just have to let the love in & bask in all of it's retarded mushyness. LOL

Parts of Star Wars.
Labyrinth.

I don't know that I can memorise any movie. I love movies but I don't think I've ever watched a movie enough times to do that.

Let's see, what else?

10 Things I Hate About You

Steal Magnolias

Gone With the Wind

Parts of LOTR

Pitch Perfect

Leon (aka: The Professional)

I was so happy when I found this on DVD years and years ago, for I had loved The Professional.
back in the day, I had also been a fan of La Femme Nikita, so I was hugely disappointed by both the US remake "Point of No Retun" and the TV series. I would not recommend these movies nowadays on account of my re-aligned values and not knowing who would have difficulties with some of the less-than-family-friendly content, and because it has been years since I watched either. I find that my taste changes, and they may no longer reflect my taste.

I have all the spoken lines memorized from Every Charlie Chaplin film ;) :p Other than that, it's hit or miss.

reading this thread I can't help but think of the take-aways from "Book of Eli."

The closest I could get to memorising a movie, is memorising scenes or lines from movies. For example: the original Star Wars Trilogy, The Lion King, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

"Leon" (1994) (known in the US and other territories as "The Professional") is one of the great, great all-time New Yawk pictures. Italian hitman Leon was the ultimate father figure for helpless but vengeful Mathilda, Gary Oldman was brilliant as the psychotic DEA officer Stansfield, the film featured great locations around the city (one of many NYC films to inspire the "Grand Theft Auto" video game series), and includes one of the most moving and memorable film scores of the 90's thanks to Eric Serra's beautiful work (the following year he scored "GoldenEye"). For sure one of my all-time faves!

It's a very good movie. I think the director's cut is amazing. There's far more character development and humanity to that version of the movie.

Book of Eli was an awesome flick!!! (I am also a sucker for everything Gary Oldman is in anyways, good or bad) "Manny, bring me everyone"..."whaddya mean everyone?"..."EVERYONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" ahhh good times...good times.

Book of Eli was very good. A movie with Old Testament violence that portrays a New Testament message.
