Exactly as the topic states. just figured i should share because adds can bring in a lot of revenue.

I'm not getting what you're saying. Are you saying people should be able to turn off ads and not have to pay? Kind of defeats the purpose of the ads. This is normal for many sites to have a free option with ads and a pay option without ads.

Ugly, I think that he is saying that he is not a paid member yet has the option to turn off ads visible and he thinks it is working since he is not seeing ads.

To the OP: although there have been a couple of times in CC history that we have run ads to generate revenue, we currently are not since they just don't generate enough to make it worth the trouble. Since we are a christian site we can't use large revenue generators such as Google Ads because of very objectionable ads that would end up showing here that would make it appear that the site Admin in some way was approving of whatever the ad was about. hmmm, that was a run on sentence.

Thanks once, that is what I was meaning. At first I was all I HAVE NO ADDS NOW! Then i couldn't remember if I had them in the first place. LOL But in the end decided to tell you :P. Glad it was nothing

Ah, ok. I have ad blockers on my Firefox so i miss a lot of ads all over the place. Even on Youtube i get no ads, even video ads. So i didn't know if we had ads or not. I remember Robo talking about putting in ads a while back.

im the same ad block with firefox. I see no ads. and if one sneaks by. it will be the last time it does.

Firefox users are the misinformed people on the web. Same with the bing searchers... IT IS ALL ABOUT GOOGLE CHROME BABY!

I tried Chrome. It sucked. I hate it. Its felt like it was designed for 5 year old's.

One word: Opera. ;)

WebKit seems good, but Google is wrought with implications of invading your privacy. If you want to use Chrome, consider Comodo Dragon. If you want to use Firefox, consider Pale Moon.

Then there's Lunascape, which would be epic if it had a nicer interface.

Happy with what i have. Its set up how i like it. Works right. I'm good.

The reason I like Google so much is do to the info they have on me. If I type "car", Google goes don't worry we can read minds, you want a 2008 Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti Hatchback Stage 2. Really creepy yet very efficient.
