I think the word says wives submit to your husband and husbands love your wife as Jesus loves the church. It is not a rank. The two shall become one flesh. Although I believe that God holds the man responsible, but many many many times, if it had not been for my wife I would have done the wrong thing.
As hard headed and "mean" as I seem on here to some, I know the role God gave me as a woman. God had a plan at the beginning of time for how a marriage should work. Unfortunately, the world doesn't see it that way.

The way I understand the bible it says the man is the head of the family. He is the be respected. He is the provider. The woman takes care of the home. She manages it to make it run smoothly. They work together to make it function properly.

This day and age things have changed. More guys are staying home dealing with the home stuff and the women are working (the provider) which if both are ok with that i see no issue with it.

I don't have a problem with women working, but it should not take over the role that God had for her.

I personally am in a situation where I am the "man and woman" and "mother and father"
I am a single mom. I have no clue where his father is. I know he isn't working, and is thousands behind in child support. I have to do it all. My son is missing out on having a father. I feel bad for him, but at the same time he has turned in to someone I don't want around my son. (It's intersting the flaws you do not see in someone when you are googly eyed, thank goodness I got my "eyes" checked).

All I'm saying "guy's" is that if your are married and love your wife. She has a way of getting to you that nothing else can. I am not a feminist and as I said God can you whoever he chooses. Hey, even spoke through a donkey, Then He can certainly speak through a woman.

I have never been googly eyed over anyone lol so I dont know lol. I tend to see people for what they are pretty quick.

I remember a couple I knew. they were married 2 kids. woman was working making like 13 a hour. guy was working but making just over min wage. they had bad money problems. (they figure were both working we can afford stuff) well I sat and looked though everything.

Guess what. The guy was working pretty much to pay for daycare he only got a few bucks once you figured the fuel, childcare in. I said yea your incomes look good on paper but you miss the expenses. your would actually save more money if he just stayed home with the kids. and did the couple odd jobs he does on the weekend that pays.

So you are saying you are a good cook?
Well, i used to cater for a while and many people come to my home for dinner!
All seem to say how they love my cooking and baking! I used to work at a bakery to and bake homemade bread, donuts and pies and many things from a young age as my gramma taught me and sell it as many came from all over to buy it.

I had to stop it though as it was costing and the effort was more than i had time to spend.

I also only 6 months after we when first got married, my husband gained over 60 lbs because i made so many good home cooked meals and deserts! he blamed it all on me! LOL I told him he knows enough to say NO, I am his wife not his mama! LOL

Now he is on a diet to loose it,, hehhehe

We better do it God's way and invite his intervention in our churches and lives.
Do it your way, and you will have to work things out on your own strength.

Root of the problem is unbelief that Scripture is truly God's Word.. Homosexuality, liberal theology.
Dumb to say. Judgmental.

And devil worship.
Dumb to say, too. Judgmental.
If it was not important , Paul wouldn't preach that long hair is the glory of women.
Hair uncut is a very important thing for women.
Dumb to say, three. Judgmental.

)))))(((((

And, to onlinebud...

God's ways are not our ways, you been having fun hitting 'like' for people's 'dumb' posts yet dumbest of all is you are supporting women pastors being anything BUT a problem in God's eyes or in God's ways.

This pretty much sums it up: God's ways are not our ways nor His thoughts our thoughts, as is He of quote , in Isaiah :)

Plus, go to 1 Cor. 2 : God tells us who can know our own thoughts but who? OURSELVES. And who else? God, of course.

And, here is a good question for you: Who knows God's thoughts? Oh, I already answer that, I know, in Isiaah 58 Scripture verse but who?

So, we know God is in control, He 'called' Paul 1 Cor. 1:1 tells us and, guess what, He calls women and men. You REALLYU have to be dumb to be so ignorant of a woman pastor on the pulpit SPEAKING and NOT knowing that she, just like a man pastor, is getting her messages from God. It can be NO OTHER WAY, and, THAT, my buddyonline, is God's way :)

And, God gave you your thoughts and brain, not to mention you have 'the mind of Christ,' so how in praytell is a woman pastor in charge of you at church? LOL, she ain't !!! Jesus authority ONLY was His Father in Heaven.

God can use anyone He chooses. I will agree that most of the time it is a man. Usually a man that has a strong women in his life. Don't underestimate the fact that a wife strong In the Lord is not extremely helpful because she will set him straight. Deborah was A JUDGE.
But Deborah was not a pastor. God, through Paul, says that a woman is not to have authority over a man. Being a pastor puts you in a position of authority, so only men should be pastors. Do you honor God's word, or do you prefer to listen to the liberal feminists?

Yes. God sees the heart and not the physical, but that doesn't mean men and women are the same. We have different roles. If we were the same we would all be one gender we aren't.
Well said Elizabeth. There is nothing worse than a male feminist who tries to twist God's word. Thanks for standing for the truth.
