Milk goes good with Pizza. Milk goes good with Chinese food (especially if listening to girl punk on LP's... oh the days of high school, how I miss so little of it). Milk is good with Cajun food (my dinner tonight). Milk is wonderstuff.

It does not, however, fix Rachel's tendency to do a backflip off the swings.

I think that car wreck musta done some damage... milk is only icky if left out on the counter instead of being properly chilled.

I've never been a fan of milk. But yes, the car accident did change many things for me.

I typically consume 2/3 gallons of milk a day. (Scientifically measured by the fact that I have to buy another two gallons every third day.) Milk is for drinking. It is awesome. It makes pastries better. Oreos are a waste of time without it. A big glass of milk with an ounce of almonds and an apple is a delightful 2nd lunch/pre-workout snack. It will soothe your mouth when you're brave enough to ask your Thai chef to make it pert da aroy, and it feels like you've eaten burning coals. In regular consumption, it will reduce delayed onset soreness when you have an intense day on the squat rack. It regulates the temperature in your fridge. It helps mashed potatoes if they're a little gummy. And it's cheap, solid nutrition, and if you're drinking 2% or skim, there are virtually no drawbacks to downing as much as you can.

Unless you're lactose intolerant. In which case, I weep for you. But...more milk for me!

And with that, I am going to pour myself a big ol' glass of milk.

To each their own! I'm not disputing the nutritional value of milk. All I'm saying is drinking it with a meal seems icky to me. I'm lactose intolerant, so the milk in my fridge is lactaid.

Milk is awesome. I love milk. I used to drink it like water when I was a kid. I stopped drinking it a few years ago because it got expensive :( but I'll start again when I have more money.

In the UK a flapjack is a baked treat made with oats and syrup, a pancake is usually either a drop scone (scotch pancake) or a crepe. Some people over here have pop but most people I know tend to have fizzy juice. Soda generally means soda water. Eg last night I had a soda and blackcurrant.

Well ty leelee for informing me...I honestly did wonder if there was a difference. I will say this about the UK..they have much better food & drink than I was led to believe prior to meeting my ex-wife. I prob spent a total of 5 months there between the 2 yrs we dated before we got married & I found many of the dishes over there quite yummy. UK chocolate destroys American chocolate...for example KITKAT bars here are crap compared to ones over there. I notice CokeACola tastes comepletely different in England than here..over there it tastes more like our Pepsi..very sweet. Which I'm not so fond of. BTW..anything with a drop of scotch in it..count me in! LOL (I know that's not what you meant)

Our chocolate is amazing. We do have great food, I am surprised to hear you say our coke is too sweet, we do have Pepsi. While I was over there I found EVERYTHING sweet,even the bread, even the bacon! It was very strange for me lol.

Also I am a pretty rubbish Scot, I hate whiskey, haggis, scotch eggs and cloutie dumplings.
