Traditionally served around christmas or a month before christmas up till christmas.
Lucia brings light to darkness in the cold winter mornings by serving luciabuns on a tray with glögg (warmspicedwine with nuts and raisins). She wears a crown of light,Lit candles in her hair. Also serves gingerbread (makes bad people nice they say) lol

To serve your partner or family breakfast in bed on luciaday is tradition also.Pitchblack and she sings luciasongs and lights up the dark.

50 g jeast for sweet dough, 150g butter, 5 dl milk,250g kesella, pinch salt, 2dl suger,3 packets saffran (1 g) (make sure its real saffran and not immitation), 1 egg, 17dl flour.

Melt butter and mix with milk till 37 degrees warm not hot.
