Hi I know what you mean..and I am also a lover of cats..hence my avatar is of a kitten..I am also a cat owner (who sadly passed away from thyroid problems)..So I also have a special affection for these adorable animals.💕..My reaction was just like yours when I 1st saw this then I guess over time I got the humour they were trying to portray and I knew the cat never came to any physical harm...(there are apparently quite a few people doing this kinda stunt on line..)
As you saw I did initially ask if I should take this post down coz I wouldn't wanna upset anyone..My requests still stands though.

That cat isn't hurt. If you look to the left of the frame you'll see something moving under the blanket by the eyes of the cat looking back and then down. He's being scratched. Then they whip off the blanket and hold the kitty as they move him out of the frame.
By the way, cats don't scream like that. It's a vocal dub of a human voice.

Yes most definitely and they are the cat owner too.So ita done with out harm to the cat..The music with the scream is sampled from other source coz its used for many other clips on line.
I use to be a cat owner did many years..about 16 years..and if my cat sounded like that I would definitely be on my way to the vet asap.
