This has always been true in my own life. It has not been in times of full days and plenty, in times of friends overflowing and great blessings that I have actually learned what life is really about. It has been in my times of NEED I have learned how to really talk with God, how to call on Him for strength and how to appreciate even the smallest things that have often gone by unnoticed in my times of plenty. It is a precious gift when He has called me alone to Himself!
