There is no reason to believe, or feel the need to believe, in an earth that is only 6000 years old. There's just too much evidence to the contrary, and there's no contradiction between an old earth and the Christian faith.

I disagree - if a man uses his wife solely for sexual pleasure, without loving her or considering her needs, essentially objectifying her, of course that would be lustful. Of course, the extreme example to refute your statement would be the case of r-pe, but these things can occur by degrees...
