I never said it washes souls clean. I just said it was requisite. People haven't been reading clearly, or they read it with a presumptuous notion and communication gets scrambled.

Well faith proceeds the miracles, I think the wester world has so much to distract us it's hard for the Lord to work in the same way as he has in the middle/near-east. But it is always good to read some of the global news stories and learn about the miracles that God is doing.

I belive that that happens upon his second coming when we are caught up in a cloud as the world is cleansed by fire. Just because the word baptism isn't explicitly used the context seems pretty clear. You have to be spiritually reborn or belive in christ before you would be baptized in his name otherwise why would you be baptized if you did not believe?

Then why were those apostles sent out to baptize in Jesus' name for all the saints?

Lol I love this question. I've been on for a day and have already encountered some unfriendly people. I think that a good follow up question would be. That if the Lord was in this forum, would people be able to recognize him and heed his counsel?

Well I think that the thing is that the Lord doesn't want you to pretend to like them. He wants you to forgive them, and love them. Now even though Christ said to forgive 7x70 what he is saying is to completely forgive them, as seven and denominations of 10's hold significance in Jewish customs...
