I agree with you. I believe the real embarrassment is when people say things are sinful but are not prepared to give the Biblical explanation for the act, or the Biblical victory over the act. I believe in many cases even pastors do not understand what parts of scripture actually mean

I am thrilled for you. It is a wonderful release to know that loving God and trusting in his son is what he requires, not our striving to be good enough according to law. I felt truly blessed by reading your post. Paul said. We get from trusting Jesus everything we try to get by obeying the law. No-one who trusts in Jesus can ever be disappointed. When you spoke of becoming a Christian and what happened when you by your own effort tried to obey, it reminded me of what happened to me. I was in despair onew day, and God clearly said to me.
