So what the OP is really saying is that we should hate people for sinning and be more judgmental of them. Because that is what God wants. Got it.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! (Psalm 37:7 ESV)

that's one of my 'God gave it to me verses'!

I still fret over evildoers from time to time...just this am in fact...but I prayed about it instead of letting it fester...then I had a real good cardio workout! put the energy to good use LOL!

I think Jesus said, "Whoever among you who is without sin, cast the first stone." I don't recall Him saying "Whoever has never done this particular thing, cast the first stone."
there is a world of difference between tolerance and forgiveness

like David said,

If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? Psalm 130:3

that does not mean we keep sinning...it simply means that when we turn from sin, God forgives us...wipes the slate clean!

which is a good thing in most of our cases

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace. (Don't forget where you belong).

I don't get the logic of your post..or what point you think your making?

It's fairly obvious to me, what he is saying. Look upon Jesus' wonderful face means concentrate more on him than you do on someone else's (or your own) sin. The things of this world will grow strangely dim means that everything in this world, pales in comparison to Jesus. We should be more focused on Jesus, and not things of this world..

Yes, and many people now days have blood dripping off their hands because they are unwilling to stand up for the word of God and tell people the truth.
And a lot can only stand with a sign: you're an abomination! and don't get them in.

Or they can stand up with a sign that reads:

Romans 1

18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

That's impossible to read on a sign, better put it on a huge flag or something. Why be a letter of Christ when you can put the texts on a sign anyway. Wonder why Jesus didn't have hate flags and just healed people.

Did I say we should promote (more) sin? No I did not. And we shouldn't promote sin of any kind, or tolerate sin of any kind.. There is not one person alive who is NOT living in some type of sin.. That's why we can't really judge each other. There's a difference between judging someone for their sin, and speaking out against it.

If I may I think there is a distinction here...

There is not one person alive who is NOT living in some type of sin..

Once we become a Christian do we never sin again,no we are human,we commit sin. But the difference is committing a sin and living in sin. There is a before and after. If we are living in sin,we are not who we claim to be. We are not followers of Christ. If we commit a sin we confess it and ask the Lord for help not to commit that sin again. I think this is what Mitspa may be trying to say, tho I may be wrong.

Yeah, wouldn't it be better to hold a sign that said: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

My Bible says: Go make disciples -- not go condemn the unrighteous.

Using the Word of God is not me condemning the unrighteous. Neither did I say that the only thing we should be doing is holding up Rom 1 on a sign. Look at the OP. This thread is about condoning or not condoning sin.

We have one church here that has that text on a huge cross on the building and one guy has Jesus saves on his roof.

Preach on that in church, so the people live holy. Sodom would have been saved if the miracles Jesus did had been done there. Focus on that. They'll want to know how they can change.
Smith Wigglesworth sat in a train and said nothing but read his Bible. The man in front of him said: sir you convict me of my sin.

Good. I can't stand those guys who hold signs which read: "God hates gays"
