It's just so strange to me that some think sinners shouldn't be in church or called to police them into someone else's way of thinking....And Jesus walked among them trying to get them into God's fold showing God's love by healing them of sickness and sin......
You know Jesus was accused of hanging out with those awful sinners... Prostitutes and tax collectors the religious leaders of the day were just horrified..... Does any of this sound familiar from a Greek translation?
I would imagine in today's world Jesus might even be seen with a homosexual or two teaching them and in His loving way persuading them to change their way.
If people are christian for a long time and had preaching and can get help, but they refuse and just live together in sin, Paul set them out of the church.
He said: don't even eat with some who call themself a brother.
I was in one church, just attended now and then, when I lived together and no preaching on sin, noone warned me I lived in sin. They said: oh you have such a nice boyfriend. It would be great if the two of you married. He was an atheist, on drugs, the whole relationship was fornication and adultery. The guy who played guitar in the worship team, he said when he also came: hey I know that guy! I always see him in the coffee shop! A coffee shop in Holland is not where you buy coffee but pot.
Sorry but you can be too 'nice' and not even warn people. That pastor laid hands on me. Poor thing. I lived in sin. Because of the teaching I got in my own church before all that I felt bad for them and didn't go anymore.
