If people are christian for a long time and had preaching and can get help, but they refuse and just live together in sin, Paul set them out of the church.
He said: don't even eat with some who call themself a brother.
I was in one church, just attended now and then, when I lived together and no preaching on sin, noone warned me I lived in sin. They said: oh you have such a nice boyfriend. It would be great if the two of you married. He was an atheist, on drugs, the whole relationship was fornication and adultery. The guy who played guitar in the worship team, he said when he also came: hey I know that guy! I always see him in the coffee shop! A coffee shop in Holland is not where you buy coffee but pot.
Sorry but you can be too 'nice' and not even warn people. That pastor laid hands on me. Poor thing. I lived in sin. Because of the teaching I got in my own church before all that I felt bad for them and didn't go anymore.
I'm confused - you didn't go to that church anymore because they didn't tell you that you were living in sin, or that they laid hands on you and said you were living in sin? Or you found out from someone else you were living in sin and because the church didn't tell you.... you left that church?

In trying to find the purpose, I made it through page 9 and getting tired -- but I think I found something.

There is a recurring theme of: "You don't understand me? Well, then, either you need to read your bible (the epistles) or you need to be an honest person. I can see my purpose clearly--why can't you?"
Yep..you seem to be getting it. Be honest and trust the bible on these type issues...not what the world is trying to bring into the church with the pc gay agenda

Many people who call themselves Christian love fornicating and committing adultery while being referred to as Christian by other so-called Christians who love fornicating, committing adultery and being referred to as Christian.
Yep...that seems to be the agenda and what some folks are ready to promote here on the forum.
I'm sorry you two have such a negative opinion of the many members of this website.

What can we do to fix'it?

I think you hit the nail right on the head with that post. We are supposed to show people love and kindness and help them to come to the Lord and grow in the Lord....but after a certain point Paul advised to put them out of the church and have no fellowship with them so that they might be ashamed and convert from their sinful ways and truly be saved...and that is also the Love of God.

Well for me nougat here is hazlenut with chocolate.
So after I saw your correction I pretty much said: Ok whatever. your right, I accept your point as valid

*Article taken from foodrepublic.com:

Related to the mighty meringue, nougat is a broad term for a confection made from whipped egg whites, sugar or honey and nuts and/or fruit. It ranges in density from stiff and chewy to the airy filling in your candy bar, and in color from white to beige to pink, depending on how long the sugar has caramelized and how much egg white is used. Ever had a Toblerone? Those delicious chewy bits in the milk chocolate are a good example of the finer nougat in life.

Eat a 3 Musketeers bar sometime. That has nougat in it. yummy nummy nom noms...

What does this mean and how does it connect with the thread's purpose?

I am being sincere.
Folks don't want to hear the biblical standard in regards to holiness ..they don't like to hear that in Christ we must seek a spiritual life and come out of the lust of the flesh... they can't bear that someone would dare tell them the truth..because it don't tickle their ears.

Your op sounds like you approve of it even if stated in sarcasm (we the regulars know that)......but to a newbie they are reading scratching their head saying What? When is that o.k.? Believe me we all get your point just don't agree with your methods.... And except for your op none of us are promoting it or saying its o.k. to commit adultery and o.k. to fornicate....not one of us except for you and your op.
