When my husband passed away in 2017, it was hard. He was a go getter. Never stopped & God blessed him with good knees. He loved model trains like the big ones that he ran in the back yard. He had a 200 foot track on what he called a layout. They were housed in his work shop when he wasn't running them. He was even in the newspaper for his love for the trains in Phenix City, Al. He had to sell his trains & everything with it because his health was going bad. He was also into honey bees. Those he sold also before he passed. One Monday, he was very weak & couldn't walk. I got him in the truck & took him to the ER. Two days later, after the pastor & assc. pastor had left his room, the nurse came in & gave him something for anxiety. All the time by the way he was in the hospital, he smiled & blessed his food. But after the nurse gave him his medicene, she had not closed the door before he closed his eyes & started making a loud noise, like a chant. It went on for at least a minute. I finally asked him why he was making that sound? His reply, I'll never forget. "I'm just enjoying how beautiful Heaven is". A few minutes later he was gone but with a smile on his face. As I spoke of this to one of my church members, he had me to repeat it to several people because he loved it. I think it is a testimony of my husband's Christian walk with God. As we left the hospital, we saw the biggest, brightest rainbow outside & knew he was smiling.

Thank you. He got about $12,000.00 for his train things on the layout. All of that, he gave some to the church & the rest to help the homeless. He sure was a blessing to me. I was never treated better by anyone until I met him
