Richie_2UK, perhaps she didn't like the answers! lol

Perhaps she was looking for someone to give her an "okay" when she KNEW it was not right. Seems like the HS may be working in her...
Or maybe she's been convinced and doesn't feel a need to comment. You're being rather presumptuous about what's going on in her head right now.

No, I believe this is close to wizardry and witchcraft which (pay attention to the spelling of those) the Lord hates.

Micah 5:12And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

We commercial fished for years, an industry that is closely affected by the seasons and the moon's action on the sea. We and the police always knew that during a full moon many of the fishermen, many of them are very "spiritual" and without anchors, would cause trouble in town. During the equinox the sea would be wild.

For those with a more solid base, those who depended on the Lord and not the stars, a full moon changed nothing.
Ha! Ha!

I will show a picture here you would like, it was taken at FULL moon, just few minutes to upload.

Here... red tent.jpg

RedTent, I don't understand this. Are you saying people entrenched in the occult are adversely affected by the full moon? If so, what was it about the full moon that affected them?

So ChristianGirlLivingLife what you think of your answers? You been reading any of them? lol
Haha I honestly wasn't expecting to get a bunch of negative answers! I would personally like to thank everyone for their input. I didn't know that astrology was a part of witchcraft and stuff, so it is interesting to point out that it has some demonic forms to it. I was just curious because I personally find them entertaining on occasion, but I do not actually live my life religiously as a "Libra". I don't believe that the horoscopes are accurate, afterall they are all manmade. The only way that we could determine who we are is in the eyes of God (and the Bible), so I fully agree with your answers.

I refuse to acknowledge myself according to the zodiac. I sometimes get people who ask, and i tell them flat out 'i don't have a sign, i don't believe in that and i don't want to be associated with it'. To be involved in it 'casually' or for entertainment is essentially saying 'i sin a liiiiiittle bit, but just for fun, not to sin religiously'.

I mean I don't believe in it, I just am open to the idea that's all, just as I am open to any other idea. Because I am open to an idea does not mean I believe in it, it just means that I am accepting of someone else's beliefs

I hope you are not another ALEXIS or Bucket, Do you? (Don´t tell, please, I told 1st)

If you are another impersonated person, I´d feel sad when faked (2nd part of my point one).

Not LIBRA? Acknowleged!

(not a CANCER, either)

Hugs!

Being open to it means willing to be a part of it. Accepting someone elses beliefs means you don't try to make them follow what you do. These are two differing ideas. If you remain open to the idea that is still saying you are open to sin.

Good point. I am accepting of their beliefs but don't acknowledge into doing anything that degrades my relationship with God.

When people ask me what my sign is, I reply, "Pass With Care." I've tried saying "Ped Xing," but since I don't say 'crossing,' but instead 'zing,' no one ever gets it.

You are curious. That is part of the strategy. It's interesting, a little dark, inviting etc. Stop while your ahead. Find the Lord and he will be all those things for you.

One of the pastors at a church I used to attend made the comment that we act on what we believe. We sit down in a chair because we believe that it will support our weight. If we didn't believe that it would, we wouldn't sit on it.

Being open to something means that you are giving it a chance to be true....that you are not sure if you believe in it, or you are not ready to say that you don't believe in it. It also could mean that you do believe in it, at least a tiny bit, even if you won't admit it to yourself.

When casually reading horoscopes or trying to get entertainment out of them, this is an opportunity for you to be deceived. You will likely have some question in the back of your mind, "I wonder if this really could be true?" "What if it is true?" "If this could just come true for me...." "I can't date that person because our signs don't match..." "Aww.....I'm ___ sign. I wonder if this is really true of me. It sounds a lot like me." One of these questions (or another one like it) might lure you deeper.

You might then begin to trust in astrology, without realizing what is going on.

When you listen to other sources than God for life and spiritual advice you are setting a trap for you to fall into. The bible clearly condemns divination. When you listen to such advice you are agreeing to lies from darkness. YOu should ask yourself ''where does this knowlege of astrology come from,'' God condemns the practice so you know its not from Him, pay no attention to psychics.

I understand I think I need to look at my beliefs a second time

In my honest opinion, no. I come from India, a land where almost everything between birth and death is done according to astrology and horoscopes. To add insult to the injury, they further more use Numerology and any other -ology possible to get their lives going.

The moment a person glances into horoscopes, say "Prediction for today", you have a faint expectation in your head that "What if it comes true?", if co-incidentally something does come true, would you not be willing to read it the next day? Doesn't this make horoscope prediction over God's will? I have seen many fall into it, who got into it for entertainment, they have ended up pretty far from God.

So I prefer to avoid even reading them for entertainment, believe me, I have read them and had expectations pop in my head, sometimes it came true and I'd read it with hope the next day. I am grateful that this though struck me before I began to religiously follow it. :)

Like santuzza said, when you read horoscopes or are listening to an astrologist you willl have a subconscious urge to stop doing it.

God bless you.

To me, horoscopes are superstitious and time-wasting.
