One of my daily duties is taking the blood pressure of others when necessary. Whenever I take a person's bp, usually I take mine after to assure the apparatus is working properly. I do the latter with some assurance of accuracy because I know my usual bp is a little on the low side, the diastolic in particular.
Today, knowing my own usual numbers,, I thought were I to think about Jesus Yeshua while registering my bp it may come up to normal. Oh, I forgot to mention, low bpis nothing to worry about if there are no symptomatic accompaniments and I am not symptomatic
Thinking on our Lord as the machine was measuring my bp, the result was not up to a normal, not it took a nose-dive way down. I thought, this cannot be, so I did another, thinking on our Lord, and this time it was still noe-dived but up a littl, 87/49, way low.
usual bp's are between 90 and d120, the first number and between 60 and 80.

I believe thinking on ourmost bloved and holy Savior has a tendency to make us "laid back" He is Great, and that is an gross understattment. Praise God! He is worthy, not we.

I believe high blood pressure is caused when the diet is from eating food mostly from the acid side of the food pH chart. When you should eat 80% of the food from the alkaline side of the food chart. But we can not set that comment in stone as the only thing all the time.

It seems to be, recently I found these comments on a website.
“High blood pressure CANNOT occur when the body is alkaline!”

I have been given blood pressure medication. I never took it I got my blood pressure down by diet & exercise, a few years later I was told I have the lowest blood pressure for my age group. (early 60's at the time) when I look at the pH food chart when I had high blood pressure I was eating most food off the acid side of the chart, now I keep my diet on the alkaline side where it should be for everybody.

Howdy Eric and welcome to the forum.

So... Salt doesn't factor into this at all?

Salt not with me, I found lack of salt gives me hick-ups, but you have to have the healty salt like celtic salt, not the toxic, refined, processed salt that has aluminum in it to make it flow better.

Did a little experiment with my grandson and apple slices, just a little processed salt, Himalayan salt and some American pink salt, definitely could tell the difference with Himalayan being the favored for flavor.

Yes I read it Lynx on Tuesday at 12:28 AM
It looks like the blood pressure device was giving strange low reading.

I am not sure how salt got into it, but in a way, it is good it did.

I have found when I do not take any salt the measurement between the low diastolic and the higher systolic goes greater than 40 mmHg.

Normally the systolic should stay at 40 mmHg higher than the diastolic.
PLUS as I said above I get hiccups (or hick-ups)

I tried to tell my primary health care provider GP (The front line people that try to stop people going into hospital) "if they had a patient when the difference between the diastolic and the systolic was greater than 40 mmHg, ask them if they get hiccups, if so they might not get enough salt in their diet like ask them how much salt do they put into their diet, As little as possible, some or as much as they can". Look at history, why were people happy to get paid in salt, back in those days all salt would be good salt, because they did not have a factory making toxic salt. All I got for my trouble was a bill for a doctor visit. Back in history, They must have realised that salt stops you getting hiccups and maybe people with hiccups died younger since they did not have any type of blood pressure measure devices.

Edit: is underlined

Refined salt probably causes a lot of trouble for sure. Got that good old iodine in it lol.

I have a paket a day of dried seaweed, or you can get a botle of liquid Iidine.
But eiter way maybe either toxic salt or dried seaweed come free with microplastic, because the ocean is a dumping spot by boaties for plastic bottles.
There is nothig wrong with my iodine shown on a Oligoscan.

I found a good way to remember which of the numbers of a blood presure is Systolic or Diastolic

The bigger number Systolic “Sits” on top, Diastolic goes “Down” below.

not too forget
3 out of 2 people have trouble with fractions.
