When I was a child, my father took we four children yet living at home, and friends of my youngest sister and my older brother to camp in the High Sierras of California.

I always took for granted the outing and how great it was, but just this week I was thinking about it.

My father had bought the provisions for everyone. He made certain there were tents and sleeping bags for everyone. He found an area raised and near a stream, and he had everything planned so perfectly.

I had never really thought about it, but my dad went to a lot of trouble to make certain everything was perfect for a bunch of unruly (not really) kids.

My father has been gone for some time now, but thinking about just how much he would do for me makes me feel very blessed and humble.

I pray everyone may meet him come the Kingdom, providing these things are done there. I know all is being prepared for us by our Father, so all will be perfect.
