*Sitting at the Fence watching everything happen*
“Can we just respect each other’s choices and be fine?”
*Sees arguments that make both sides look bad*
“Okay, I’ll just keep chilling here, on my fence”
Honestly though, I’ve seen people wearing masks, talking to their friends not wearing a mask at our grocery store (We aren’t mask mandatory yet), so let us all “Peacefully agree to disagree”. My main issue is how far both sides take the mask wearing, I remember when this stuff started, a older woman told me: “I don’t know where your hands have been, so don’t touch my stuff”. I work as a Courtesy Clerk, I sack people’s groceries and push carts in. I’ve been making sure to keep my hands clean, so much so they can get dry. Also, just hand sanitizer isn’t enough, you need to wash your hands, hand sanitizer does not work all day.
People have been pushing me around at work and I’m legit tired, I got back on my antidepressants because of the stress and thinking about killing myself, I think people fail to see that side of mask wearing, the poor employees forced to deal with the “extremes of both sides”.
I’ll never forget this, a lady was coming up to put her groceries on the conveyer belt, and she asked if we had cleaned it. The cashier was honest and said: “No I haven’t had the time, it’s been too busy”, said lady customer then proceeded to pick up everything she had on belt, and moved to a different register, are you legit kidding me?
*Sigh*, if you don’t work at the grocery store, BE GLAD THAT YOU DON’T, I’m happy to have a job, but BE GLAD you are not doing what I’m having to do, like people leaving their masks on the ground and in shopping carts, the people that do that DON’T CARE FOR OTHERS, they are lazy and selfish. I know as a woman following the lord I should not judge others, but like I said all the stress got me back on antidepressants, and that is not good, and I’m staying on my antidepressants until all of this stuff is over.
