Metaphorically... I tripped over and fell into a mud puddle. I stink and full of dirt but I have to get to this meeting. I take my clothes off and thankful that beneath that first layer is unstainable (is there such a word?) garment. I take a few reluctant steps forward, doubtful if I look okay or if I have to head back home and take a shower. But here's living on the edge, right? Take those leaps of faith forward and cast all your cares to God. So I did... And today, the meeting starts.
