I don't have much yard to mow, the front takes about 5 minutes, the back takes a while because I have to mow around a swing set. Once and a while I also get a causality that get's stuck, a Lego toy or Power Ranger.
I would prefer it if there were just concrete where the lawn is. Maybe also a pot or two of shrubs.

I suppose I should have asked as to the reason for your back pain........is it muscle related? or bone.....vertebra ? bone chips or such? pinched nerve?

There are different ways to address each of these............

It's in lower back; and if I pick up a suitcase that is too heavy I have lots of problems, maybe for some days afterwards.

So you haven't seen a Doctor at all to determine the cause for the pain?

IF it is muscle based pain, there some things you can do on your own to help you get through the day, and perform some tasks...........but if it's spinal, then a Doctor must be seen........

I have grass pollen allergy, so concrete sounds good. Or at least tiles / bricks. No worries yet though, I live on the second floor of a concrete building :p

Sorry about your allergy; seems like your back is probably okay, though...

I just thought of this .......when I was a teen we lived here in fla..... my parents had 5acre land with horses......
my little sister talked my parents into getting this little beef cow.....santa gertude.....the thing grew so fast...
she was big with horns ......everyone thought she was a bull....when you rode the lawn mower she would chase you
till you stopped so she could eat the cut grass on top of the mower.......welll....I was cutting the grass one day and
there were these people waving their arms at me jumping up and down......I rode over to where they were.... thinking
there was trouble......much to my surprise they were warning me of the charging bull.......good times...lol

A cow would be good; saves concreting over the lawn... :)
